A string of familiar faces will join Fearne Cotton this September for her famed Happy Place festival at Cheshire's idyllic Tatton Park. After a successful weekend at Chiswick House and Gardens in summer, Cotton will return with a nourishing lineup of wellness workshops, celebrity guests and enriching conversations from experts across the board. The aim is to offer a wholesome weekend that aids self-care, through breath and sleep sessions, mindful calligraphy and arts and crafts workshops. The festival, taking place on 2 and 3 September, will also be home to electronic music meditations, women's circles, yoga, sound baths and pilates classes. Experts will take to the Talk Stage to discuss body image, unrealistic ideals, societal pressures, and ways we can work to make the industry a more inclusive place. Not to mention, a live recording of Cotton's popular podcast. Best-selling author Vex King will be in attendance, along with the likes of Nick Grimshaw, Denise Van Outen, Henry Holland, and Vicky Pattinson among many more. iShowSpeed lived a fever dream in real life recently after accidentally exposing himself to thousands of fans, and it’s safe to say the internet isn’t letting him live it down. The 18-year-old was live streaming to 24,000 fans when the incident took place and he inadvertently flashed the camera, before immediately ending his stream with a look of panic on his face. He escaped being banned by YouTube, but since then, he’s been subjected to trolling by fans – and he recently took issue with people “reposting” the clip and laughing at his expense. It’s clearly getting to iShowSpeed. One stream filmed since the incident shows his frustrations, standing up and screaming at the camera: “Like bro, how the f*** would you f***ing feel motherf***er? How the f*** would you feel?” “How would you feel? Just because you didn’t have any clean f***ing underwear? You had no clean underwear so you put on some goddamn pants! How would you feel?!” Showing how much the constant messages and trolling had impacted him he added: “I’m sick of f***ing chilling! You can’t chill! Don’t tell me to calm down.” It’s been clearly evident in the days since that he’s been suffering. The streamer also spoke about the "embarrassing moment," and how it's impacted him mentally. He begged his viewers to stop trolling him over the incident during his first stream back, but people still constantly calling him "IShowMeat" and flooding the chat with steak emojis and other comments. The impact of something like this is impossible to comprehend – especially for most of us whose life hasn’t been lived out with millions watching. The cruelty of the internet has always been evident in his streams. Even with the outpouring of support from fans in Japan, which saw them show up outside the building in Tokyo to show their support, thousands unsubscribed just at the moment he was due to hit 19 million subscribers, even when he’d “nearly died” just days before and was suffering with horrendous cluster headaches. The idea of having the worst moment of a person’s life at a young age broadcast to millions is the stuff of nightmares. Everyone knows how awful discourse online can be, with millions seemingly unable to respond with any degree of empathy to major events, and it’s no surprise to see social media users respond in such a way. "These past days and hours, I've been suffering very mentally, genuinely," iShowSpeed told viewers recently, honestly discussing his feelings since the incident. "At the end of the day, I'm still a human being." He said it was "one of the worst fears" that has happened and that it's "just depressing." "You guys are joking, you guys can crack your jokes – but you're genuinely not looking at the bigger picture," he said. "Do you all know I have family, little siblings?" "I don't know what to do anymore, bro," Speed added. As another TikToker pointed out, even his dad repeated the words “ishowmeat” in a recent stream, which has been used to refer to the incident. YouTuber Cody Detwiler, who boasts over 5 million subscribers on his WhistlinDiesel channel, was caught in terrifying moment when, in just minutes, his brand new Ferrari and rental van caught fire - destroying both vehicles in a couple of minutes. In the video’s caption Detwiler writes: “I regret to inform everyone that my $400,000 Ferrari F8 and rental minivan with only 5,000 miles on it [have] recently burned down to a pile of ash.” The video opens with Detwiler speeding around an empty corn field in his new car. That is until his friends in the rental van begin to scream “fire!” At him, after the right tire is seen catching on fire. Once Detwiler realises he quickly brings the vehicle to a halt and gets out. The group attempt to put the flames out by throwing water and whatever other liquid they have onto the fire, but due to the dry surroundings, the fire quickly grows, with the van also catching fire seconds later. My Ferrari is Gone. youtu.be Talking to the emergency services, one of Detwiler’s friends can be heard on the phone saying: “We are off road, we were going into a cornfield the vehicles are on fire, we need a fire department immediately.” The group attempt to rescue some of their belongings that are still in the van. “Alright well there goes half a million dollars,” Detwiler says to the camera whilst standing in front of the burning Ferrari. Within minutes both vehicles had burnt to a crisp. “This is financially bad, I don’t care about the cars,” Detwiler tells his friend. Two fire trucks are then seen arriving as firefighters extinguish the flames. “Do I even have insurance on this car? I think if I do it’s like the most minimal,” Detwiler says. “I don’t have full coverage on anything they won’t give it to me. They’re like, ‘he’s gonna cause an accident, burn the car down.’” Despite some claiming the video is staged, Detwiler said it was very much an accident. “No this wasn’t staged. Anyone that can read human body language can tell this was real,” Detwiler said in a statement. “Why would I also burn up a RENTAL van with all of our stuff inside? My shoes, headphones, sunglasses, sentimental Polaroid photos, tools, spare wheels and riders, and cameraman’s gear also burnt. Sure I make money destroying things, but I don’t lie. The winner of Miss BumBum 2023 has left fans shocked after turning up to claim her title dressed in an outfit made of raw meat to protest her being “seen as a piece of meat”. Contestant, Lari Sumpani, 24, was crowned in the first place, with Sabrina Rabanne, the runner-up, and Rafaela Dias taking third place. The final presentation of the beauty pageant took place on 18 August in São Paulo, Brazil. Things took a turn towards the end of the show, as Lari Sumpani, who has 265,000 followers on Instagram (@eusumpani), decided to draw attention to an issue close to her heart – the objectification of women. "I'm only seen as a piece of meat, but contrary to what many people think, I have content,” she told NudePR.com. In a photo, Lari, who has previously hit the headlines for discussing her ‘sex diet’ fitness routine, can be seen wearing a small, bikini-like top and short skirt. The thin slices of red, fatty meat appear to be stitched together, as they hang down the model’s body. Lari also shared a video of the unusual co-ords, which has over 70,000 views online. The look is somewhat reminiscent of the memorable outfit Lady Gaga once wore to the MTV Awards in 2010. An apparent phenomenon which occurred at a recent Lana Del Rey concert has left conspiracy theorists chomping at the bit. Rey’s performance took place at the Foro Sol arena in Mexico City on August 15, but it wasn’t until the weekend that footage of the jaw-dropping occurrence exploded across social media. Recordings of the incident show swathes of the crowd suddenly toppling to the ground after being hit by what viewers called a “mysterious energy wave”. The bizarre sweep was filmed from numerous angles and, indeed, looks like a dramatic full-body Mexican wave involving hundreds of people. X/Twitter users were quick to demand explanations for the strange happening and, inevitably, the responses came in thick and fast. “Someone's TESTING something without informed consent,” one theorist suggested. “Probably crowd control device.” “Evil spirits and demonic energy exists,” offered another ominously. “I’ve seen Holy Spirit do this, as strange as this will sound to most,” wrote a third, who describes himself as a “Jesus Person”. However, others were quick to shrug it off as just an example of the so-called “domino effect”. This was explained by crowd science expert Keith Still, who told The Messenger: “It’s called a progressive crowd collapse, where the momentum of one person knocking into another, increases significantly. “I think the phrase ‘domino effect’ is quite appropriate,” he added. And yet, scores of viewers remained unconvinced by this idea. “Progressive Crowd Falls do happen BUT NOT LIKE THIS,” responded one. “Anyone who’s been to a big show can tell the difference,” they added. “[One] big difference in my mind: when the progressive crowd thing happens it’s usually stopped when smaller people bump into the bigger people. “This though, this looks like everyone was pushed nearly simultaneously. Cheems Balltze, a little dog whose smiling face and stocky physique went viral in memes about his passion for cheeseburgers, has died after a short battle with cancer.

The woman who broke the internet by launching into a flummoxing rant aboard an American Airlines (AA) flight is doing everything she possibly can to rebrand herself as a beacon of positivity. Tiffany Gomas was widely christened the “crazy plane lady” after footage of her meltdown – during which she uttered the now immortal words “that motherf**ker is not real” – went viral online. The 38-year-old marketing executive has since addressed her actions, admitting that they were “completely unacceptable”. However, she has also urged viewers to appreciate that “we all have our bad moments”. And on Sunday, a week after sharing her tearful apology, she posted some groomed-but-relaxed photos of herself on Instagram, accompanied by the caption: “One moment doesn’t define you; but it can define your purpose.” In the snaps, Gomas looks a far cry from the frazzled, scraped-bun-banshee on board that AA aircraft and, instead, shows off her long, flowing hair as she poses barefoot on her kitchen floor. Emphasising her ambitions to become a motivational mental health guru, she added the hashtags: “#selflove #empowerment #motivation #staytuned.” The “stay tuned” refers to a project she has been promoting ever since sharing her public apology. She Texas-based exec insists that she wants to use the “life-altering” experience of becoming an internet personality to “do a little bit of good in the world” and has hinted that she’d like to become an influencer. No one knows what it’s like.” In the notorious clip, Gomas stormed to the front of the plane and declared that she was getting off because “that motherf**ker back there is not real.” “You can sit on this plane and you can die with them or not. I’m not going to,” she yelled before being removed by members of the cabin crew. Gomas flew into a rage following an argument with a relative, whom she accused of stealing her AirPods, according to police records reviewed by The New York Post. Because of her behaviour, passengers were forced to disembark Flight 1009 from Dallas to Orlando, before eventually being allowed to re-board – causing a delay of at least 3 hours, the US news outlet reported. Gomas was issued a warrant for criminal trespass after police found her sitting outside the airport terminal waiting for an Uber, however, she was neither arrested nor charged. New research suggested that Brits abroad are turning to outrageous makeshift sex toys while on holiday. Sexual wellness brand Lelo discovered that 40 per cent of Brits feel more turned on during their travels. Despite this, just 28 per cent of the study confessed to taking a toy overseas with them. The remaining majority admitted to feeling anxious during security checks, worried whether it would go off in their luggage and simply having no space in their suitcases. Well, it turns out holidaymakers are becoming more creative with what's available, with more than one in 10 admitting to using a DIY vice. Shockingly, 18 per cent are opting for shampoo bottles, shortly followed by wooden spoons (16 per cent). A further 20 per cent even claimed to turn to vegetables. The classic Twister ice lolly has bizarrely struck up a conversation online after a video showing how they're made went viral. The clip, which racked up over 3.2 million views, was reposted on X (formerly known as Twitter) where it left viewers feeling "distressed". It shows the ice cream being pumped out of a machine in its famed yellow, turquoise and pink colours. The next step shows an industrial slicer chopping the ice cream log into smaller chunks, ready to be slotted with a wooden stick. The Twister lollies are then transported to a freezer before being packaged up. The two-minute video has since been reposted and liked tens of thousands of times, with the poster writing: "Sorry, but the haphazard way the sticks are being launched into the Twister ice lollies (or whatever they’re called here) is killing me." "No that can't be right, reject reject reject," another added, while a third chimed in: "Wow them machines really couldn't be bothered... giving Monday vibes." One offended user wrote: "That is deeply, deeply troubling." "Imagine how lucky you'd feel when you get one with a functionally placed stick," another joked. It comes after people were left mind-blown after discovering the real meaning of 'Twix,' the popular chocolate treat. The revelation came in 2018 after Fooji tweeted at Twix, and asked: "I read that "Twix" is short for "twin biscuit sticks." Can you confirm or deny this?" MrBeast has done it again, with another record-breaking challenge that's racked up tens of millions of views in less than 24 hours. On Saturday (19 August), the popular YouTuber, real name Jimmy Donaldson, uploaded an exciting challenge that saw every country in the world go head-to-head for $250,000 (£196,300). The video was an instant hit with his 177 million subscribers, having racked up 48 million views in 17 hours at the time of writing. The numbers continue to soar by the second. MrBeast's latest challenge sees one person from each country take on his version of the Olympics. All participants were flown out to America, before battling it out in five different rounds of activities including gymnastics, archery and fencing. Countries were eliminated throughout the challenge, with just 47 making it to the third round. The last standing won the cash prize. Cats and dogs have both brought us many iconic memes over the years, and the pup behind one of the most recognisable viral images – Cheems the shiba inu – has passed away, his owner has announced. Cheems, real name Balltze or ‘Ball Ball’, was popularised online for his love of cheeseburgers or a “cheemsburbger”, and appeared in “Swole Doge vs Cheems” and “bonk” memes too. He was not the pup behind the ‘doge’ meme, however – with that being a shiba inu named Kabosu who, despite reports in December 2022 that she was critically ill with leukaemia, is still smiling away in adorable photos on Instagram. In their post to the social media platform on Friday, Balltze’s owners confirmed Cheems “fell asleep” during a surgical procedure known as thoracentesis, which concerns the removal of fluid or air from around the lungs. He had been battling cancer, with his owners hoping to arrange chemotherapy following the surgery. The owners wrote: “Don’t be sad, please remember the joy that Balltze brought to the world. A shiba inu with a round smiling face connecting you and me, he has helped many people during the pandemic and brought a lot of joy to many of you, but now his mission is completed. “I believe he is running freely in the sky and having a lot of delicious food with his new friends. A woman travelled from America to Scotland to attend her friend's wedding and accidentally showed up at the wrong ceremony, leaving people in hysterics. The viral clip posted to TikTok shows Arti (@firstseedfoods) sitting in a taxi on the way to the big day.
