A man has been arrested in Florida after he tried to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a giant hamster wheel. Reza Baluchi, an Iranian athlete, got about 70 miles off the Georgia coast until he was spotted in the contraption by the US Coast Guard. He then proceeded to have a nearly three-day standoff with the USCG, in which he refused to leave the hamster wheel, claiming he wanted to keep going to London. Eventually, authorities extracted him from the vessel, which was judged to be “manifestly unsafe”, and took him back to shore. Baluchi, 51, embarked on his bizarre voyage days before Hurricane Franklin hit parts of the Caribbean and the US east coast. When authorities caught up with him, he “replied that he was armed with a 12-inch knife and would attempt to commit suicide should the USCG officers attempt to remove him,” court documents said. Baluchi then threatened to blow himself up if he was removed from the hamster wheel. “USCG officers again ordered Baluchi off the vessel, but he again refused. It was then that Baluchi informed the USCG officers that the bomb was not real.” Incredibly, this is not Baluchi’s first run-in with the Coast Guard. His last voyage, in 2021, ended in a similar way, after he tried to reach New York from Florida in a human-powered ball. His trip was curtailed when he realised he had forgotten his GPS and charging cables, and he was forced to return to the shore. A passenger who was onboard the now-infamous diarrhoea Delta flight has detailed the “horrible” experience everyone endured. The Delta flight went viral after details emerged confirming the plane U-turned after a passenger onboard “had diarrhoea all the way through” the plane. The incident occurred on 2 September on a journey between Atlanta and Barcelona, which turned back around an hour into the journey. Audio recording from the flight deck heard the pilot of Flight DL194, explain: “This is a biohazard issue. We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhoea all the way through the aeroplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta.” A passenger whose partner was onboard has spoken up about the experience, writing on X/Twitter: “My partner was on that flight! It was pretty bad. It was dribbled down the aisle, smelled horrible. “The vanilla-scented disinfectant used on it only made it smell like vanilla s**t. After the plane landed, it was thoroughly cleaned. They didn’t leave until around 2.30am.” They continued: “The flight was met by emergency vehicles and EMTs carried the sick passenger off the plane. My partner said the plane was cleaner when they got back on at 2am than it was the first time they got on. No smell either.” Another passenger who was onboard explained that it was right for everyone to make the decision to turn back. On X/Twitter, they said: “Both my wife and I were on the flight. It was a mess. The pilots made the right decision to turn around. The ground crew ripped out the carpet and put new in. The misogynist trolling of Nina Agdal by Dillon Danis is continuing in the run up to his fight with Logan Paul. Danis and Paul are going head to head in Manchester in October, which will be on the same card as KSI vs Tommy Fury. The pair have clashed repeatedly on Twitter, with Danis making claims about Paul and Agdal’s private life. Now, Danis has claimed that he possesses a picture which is capable of disrupting the pair’s relationship – and he supposedly shared it with Twitch streamer Adin Ross as part of a recent video. The clip, which was shared by the Happy Punch page on Twitter/X, saw Danis claiming to show Ross a picture. Ross appeared to be shocked in the clip, saying: "Bro, what the heck, bro? Now, that is beyond wild, bro. I actually feel really bad." It’s just one example of the misogynist trolling aimed at Agdal. Over recent times, Agdal has been trending on social media due to an explicit video that people have claimed features her. However, it has been reported that the video in question does not feature Agdal. Drama Alert posted a picture of Agdal and Paul on Twitter, adding the caption: “Leaked explicit video of Logan Paul’s fiancé is NOT real, DramaAlert has confirmed. The video is not of Nina Agdal, but of a different girl.” Agdal and Paul have yet to release any comment on the situation. Body cam footage of a Washington State police officer has gone viral after he took an unconventional method to try and get a group of teenage suspects to surrender. The teenagers were suspected of stealing a car and had been chased on foot by authorities into the forest, after stop sticks had been used to deflate the car's tyres. So one deputy decided to try an unusual tactic in an effort to get the teenagers to surrender themselves. "Don't make us realease our K-9s," the officer can be heard shouting, before imitating the bark of a dog. The officer also yells "better stop", before continuing to bark, whilst his colleague reads a description of the suspects in the background. The teenagers eventually surrendered and walked out from the forest towards deputies before being placed under arrest. They told deputies they actually believed there was a dog and gave up as soon as they heard the barking. In a video posted to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department's Facebook, Sgt. Darren Moss Jr. said, "the kids actually believed there was a dog, and, in the end, they told the deputies, 'Man, soon as I heard that dog, I gave up.'" However, whilst it may have been believable to the four teenagers, people watching the clip had other opinions. In the comment section of a TikTok showing the body cam footage, people were shocked the teenagers fell for the deputy's trick: "It wasn't even believable," wrote one user. Another wrote: "I'm crying real tears rn please how did they believe this." "Imagine having to go to court and watch this back infant of everyone, I'd plead guilty asap," said one user. Users also compared the bark to the likes of Scooby Doo and Brian from Family Guy. No details about the suspects' identities or the charges they may face have been revealed. A woman walked out on drinks with her friend all thanks to a crying baby. Posting on Reddit, the woman explained that her and her friend, both aged 27, went to a brewery for happy hour drinks but was disturbed by a baby at the next table. "He [was] eating some mac and cheese and just yelling 'awawawa', over and over in the minute we were near the baby," she explained. She added: "He seemed happy, but I don't like babies yelling, crying, or really making noise. It really bothers me." So, she asked my friend if she wanted to move tables and told her she didn't want to be near a yelling baby. But the friend disagreed, and said "she thought the baby was cute and funny." They argued for a while and her friend said she was being "an asshole. So, she left. Reacting to her story, some people had her back. "I wouldn’t want to be near a screaming baby, either," one said. "You have choices and you made one." Another said: "It’s fine if you didn’t want to sit there. It’s fine that she didn’t want to move." But others thought she was in the wrong. "It’s a brewery, not a bar," one said. "Almost all breweries I’ve ever seen are family friendly." Another wrote: "Breweries that have restaurants and serve food, are for families too. iShowSpeed is one of the biggest names on YouTube, and a recent incident in Scotland with his fanbase has shown just how popular he is. Speed has more than 20 million subscribers on YouTube and regularly streams live to his fans. Recently, we’ve seen him diving into the camera to mark an incredible streaming milestone, but the latest live video turned to chaos and sparked fear among viewers. iShowSpeed is currently in the UK and he was documenting his journey up to Scotland when viewers worked out his location. Things quickly turned, with a legion of fans mobbing the vehicle he was travelling in. Soon, the crowd was hitting on the windows and surrounding the streamer. Holy sh**.” Thankfully, the clip shows the vehicle making its way clear of the crowd, showing the fans in their dozens watching Speed leave. It bore more than a passing resemblance to a recent incident involving fellow streamer Kai Cenat. On 5 August, Kai held a huge giveaway at Union Square that saw gaming consoles given away. More than 6,000 people were said to have attended the event which soon turned sour. Footage showed teens damaging cars, throwing objects, fighting and blasting fire extinguishers. A woman has left TikTok users in hysterics after seemingly putting in overtime as she sleeps. Sabrina (@sabrinalodd) took to the platform with a screen recording of an app that monitors sleep quality. It tells users how many times they woke up in the night, and how many hours of rest they had. It also reveals whether a person sleep talks. In the clip that's racked up almost half a million views, Sabrina can be heard speaking about work. "So, let me know if you need anything and, yeah, have a great day," she says at around 1.49am. A few hours later, the TikToker goes back into work mode, saying: "Oh, hi. OK, have a great day everybody." In the last snippet at 3.41am, Sabrina politely signs off an imaginary Zoom meeting, telling everyone "thank you." @sabrinalodd client service voice and all💀 Inevitably, the TikTok was flooded with comments from fellow users who found Sabrina's upload hilarious. "This is literally working overtime," one person wrote, while another added: "Touch basing in ur sleep." A third joked that Sabrina deserved a bonus "because you're sleeping and still on the clock." It didn't take long for some users to share their own experience with sleep talking. One person shared: "My mom woke me up in the middle of the night once and my response was 'how can I help you?'" Disney is reportedly investigating footage that appears to show staff twerking while dressed in their family-friendly character uniform. In a viral video shared to a TikTok account called 'Illegal Disney,' the famed dog Pluto was spotted provocatively dancing to the popular audio that sings: "Here comes the hurricane b****". Another clip shows behind-the-scenes footage of the character heads in the dressing room. "Warning! Will ruin Disney magic. Disney backstage," the caption read. It has since been reported that Disney seniors are fuming about the clips. A source told The Sun that while it "looks silly," it is "absolutely paramount" to protect the integrity of the characters. "They’ve asked top investigators to shut down the feed and try to identify those responsible, who are in breach of their employment contracts," they continued. Two of the biggest names in YouTube have been feuding, with viewers surprised to see there was beef between MrBeast and Jacksepticeye. It comes following the circulation of a clip on social media, which saw Jacksepticeye asked questions about his fellow YouTuber. The footage shows the Irish 33-year-old hooked up to a lie detector, while giving his honest opinions on MrBeast – the biggest name on the video streaming platform. When asked about his content, Jacksepticeye said that MrBeast "ruined YouTube" because he made videos which were all about "views, money, and popularity." TommyInnit also appears in the video, and when he asked if MrBeast ruined YouTube, Jacksepticeye replied: “Yes. Because it became more about views, money, and popularity than it did about having fun. If he had fun doing those videos, they'd be longer. We'd see the fun." The clip quickly went viral, and MrBeast replied to him by taking issue with his comments. "So, I, 'ruined YouTube' because I didn’t buy a mansion and sports cars and instead reinvested my $ into making content/ocused on doing good and inspiring kids to help people?" he wrote on Twitter. Tens of thousands of Burning Man festivalgoers are stranded at the Nevada desert due to flooding. Heavy rain forced nearby roads to be closed, prompting chaotic scenes at Black Rock. Those in attendance have been urged to conserve food and take shelter. Officials have also confirmed the death of one person "during this rain event" with no further details. Their family has been informed. Rumours online suggested the scenes were a result of an Ebola outbreak – claims officials have since shut down. Radio presenter Chris Arnold has apologised after a slip of the tongue left him saying something rather explicit live on the radio. Arnold was covering Mel Everett on BBC Radio Somerset and was trying to tell listeners there was "lots to come" for them to enjoy on the night's show. But he accidentally said something else with a completely different meaning. "Hello, good evening, Chris Arnold here until 10pm. Hope you've have a good day, lots of come... lots to come tonight," the presenter said before pausing and saying "right, OK". Posting on Twitter/ X he apologised to listeners, writing: "I can only apologise profusely to the listeners for this deeply unfortunate slip of the tongue on the show this evening." Reacting to his post, people thought it was pretty hilarious. Fellow radio presenter Greg James, for instance joked that it was "always exciting to be live on air".
