His brother might be his business partner, but Jake Paul has never been a fan of KSI and it looks like things aren’t changing any time soon. There’s been a long-running feud between the pair for years now, but where did it all start? Essentially, the pair’s resentment of each other stems from the early days of YouTube boxing, when KSI and Jake’s brother Logan Paul emerged as the two biggest figures on the scene. KSI first took on Logan in 2018 which resulted in a draw. Then, he fought Logan again in 2019 and won by split decision. Since then, they’ve largely buried the hatchet to launch their hugely successful Prime energy drink together. But for Jake, it’s not been so easy to move on and let bygones be bygones – and he still wants to avenge his brother’s loss. Speaking about his feud with KSI on the BS podcast, Jake said: "Logan grabbed me and he was drunk in this sprinter van and I could tell how badly he was emotionally hurting from the loss to KSI. "I was seeing him and he was like drinking from the bottle, whilst I was sitting there sober. He was talking with his friends about the loss and I saw how badly it hurt him. In that same sprinter van ride, he grabbed me by the neck and said 'you have to beat KSI for our family'.” Another point of contention surrounds one of KSI’s previous fights. When considering how KSI will get on against Tommy Fury in their fight in October, Logan told Donagh Corby: “I think Tommy knocks him out in like less than five rounds.” He added: “I mean [KSI] is doing these gimmick WWE fights up until now. Tommy is his first real test, but who knows, he might throw an elbow on Tommy, too.” The comment about the elbow is a reference to KSI’s bout with Joe Fournier which was classified as a “no contest” after the fight after the winning knockout from KSI was ruled to be an illegal elbow strike. In fact, KSI and Logan themselves have been talking up the chances of a fight taking place between them for years now. They’ve been taking potshots at each other on social media. Before the fight between KSI and Fury was signed, he previously took a shot at him and Jake by writing: "What you waiting for @tommytntfury? Sign the damn contract and let me show you the difference between me and that fraud who only wins against retired MMA pensioners." The “MMA pensioners” comment was a reference to his win over former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, who was 47 when he fought Paul in 2022. Not one to back down easily, Jake replied: "This clown…tried to fight [Dillon Danis] who has never boxed and put a rehydration clause on him. Fought a 40 year old who hadn’t fought for 3 years and put a rehydration clause on him before elbowing him. Now trying to squeeze Tommy. I know he’s got friends, I know he’s got a lot of people that like him, but there’s a lot of people that hate him, and I’m one of them. I just don’t like him. I just don’t like everything about him. And I feel like he also tries to s*** on everything that I have done, or that I have worked hard for. Barbenheimer is the cinematic event of the year, but not everybody is happy about the discourse surrounding both Barbie and Oppenheimer. In fact, there’s been a backlash on social media in Japan following the release of promotional material for both films, and it’s led to the #NoBarbenheimer hashtag trending. Things came to a head when a US account for the Barbie movie responded to a graphic of both Margot Robbie and Cillian Murphy in their respective movies with the caption: “It’s going to be a summer to remember.” The tweet now appears to have been deleted. This month marks 78 years since atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and Japan remains the only country to have suffered the use of nuclear weapons during wartime. Warner Bros. Japan LLC posted a statement on the official Japanese account for Barbie saying it was “highly regrettable” that the film took part in the “Barbenheimer” discourse in an inappropriate manner. The company also stated it was not connected to the meme and added that it was seeking “an appropriate response” from its US parent company. It comes as the release of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer generated a flurry of interest in the man behind the atomic bomb, Julius Robert Oppenheimer. The film tells the story of the physicist and his role in the Manhattan Project, which was the codename given to the development of the A-bomb. The first bomb was dropped on the city of Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. It killed tens of thousands of people. A second bomb fell days later on the city of Nagasaki. A man who spent $22,000 transforming himself into a collie has hit back at online trolls who have called his desire to be a dog a “fetish”. The Japanese man named Toco has had a lifelong dream to become a collie and has dropped several thousand dollars in order to do so. But, since taking his first public “walk” in his newly transformed state, haters online have told him he needs “therapy”. Clips of Toco walking around as a dog went viral as he did tricks like rolling over, playing fetch and other dog-like actions. You cannot convince me this isn’t some weird sex thing.” But, Toco has hit back at online haters, arguing that it is simply his hobby and there is nothing nefarious about it. As artificial intelligence has become a bigger part of the cultural conversation many have used its power to create art, a subject that’s been highly controversial amongst artists who accuse AI of stealing and profiting of their work. The most recent AI art to go viral is a depiction of what Da Vinci’s iconic Mona Lisa would look like today, and the result is… interesting. The AI version showed a lot of changes. Clearer sing, wide eyes, a bit of makeup and a lot of cleavage. Many men seemed suddenly attracted this version of Mona Lisa leaving comments such as “now I’m interested in art” and “would” about a non-existent version of the famous woman. One user said the image was “a very funny illustration of AI bias,” and that this other Mona Lisa “makes a starker point about AI and art.” He goes on to say that, “real art challenges or re contextualises - it is an act of original thought. “Most AI tools can only please. They cannot subvert or invent unless so programmed.” Many seemed to agree with one tweet amassing over 80,000 likes for critiquing the image saying: "not this what she would like like according to porn addicts." Another user joked about what the actual Mona Lisa looks like today: The creator of the image Gianpaolo Rosa has addressed the controversy surrounding the image claiming that it was made to "honour Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece" but regonised that the sexualisation of women is "sad" and "problematic" but hopes that the image can open a dialogue about how we "perceive art and women." AI art has long faced criticism and many argue that it often shows AI's limitations, rather than its capabilities. Many say it lacks originality and creativity, often producing work after being 'fed' the real work of artists. As a heatwave take over much of America and Europe, with seawater in Florida reaching 100 degrees or more, much of Greece on fire, and July set to be the hottest month in living memory, some are still putting their head in sand about climate change and what the heatwave means for our Earth. Some right-wing conspiracy theorists have suggested that the heatwave is in fact a hoax and the numbers being reported are false. GB News presenter Neil Oliver has accused the BBC "and others" of "driving fear" by using "supposedly terrifying temperatures", in a clip that has been viewed over 2 million times. Oliver claims that the reported temperatures of "40 this and 40 that... were obtained using satellite images of ground temperatures," he said. "That's never been the temperature that's used in weather reporting and forecasting." Many conspiracy theorists have latched onto the temperature reported by BBC from the interior of Sicily (47C) and a weather station in sea-side Palermo (37C) from the BBC weather app, as proof that the BBC is faking its data. The BBC disputed the claims, stating that ground temperatures "are not used in the BBC's weather reporting and forecasting" unlike Oliver's false claim. TikTok and Reddit combined have been left stunned by one man's revelation about his wife who has asked if she can sleep with another man despite her husband helping her through her cancer battle. In a post shared on the off my chest subreddit a man shared the trauma that he has gone through while helping his wife through uterine cancer. In the viral post, he wrote: "My wife and I have been married since 2001 and together since 1999. She is the most intelligent, thoughtful, caring, loyal person I know, and I have always thought of myself as fortunate to have met and married her. She is, even today, aesthetically beautiful and men have told her this throughout our marriage. She has always shot them down. "Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer, stage 1 and had a full hysterectomy. I was never concerned about the cancer, it was diagnosed early, dealt with quickly and she made a full recovery. I took time off work to look after her after the surgery and all seemed well. There were some to-be-expected emotional instances on her part and although I am not an emotional person, we dealt with them together." She even began to take up yoga, swimming and healthy cooking classes but things soon turned sour between the pair. He continues: "Last week she came home from work and told me she wanted a “hall pass”. A one-time opportunity for her to have sex with someone else besides me. She said that since her cancer diagnosis her outlook on life has changed and she doesn’t want to be handcuffed from doing things she wants do. "She explained that there is this guy at her work that she has always had some attraction to. He is leaving the company and she will never see him again, so this is the perfect opportunity to sleep with someone else. She said that I could say no of course but that she would “be mad/disappointed at me for an indeterminate amount of time and that it would be confirmation of my male toxicity and insecurity. "I don’t consider myself to be toxic and if not wanting your wife of 20+ years to have sex with someone else is insecure than I guess I am insecure. I told her that I appreciated her talking to me about this but approval via coercion is not approval. I also said that I do not appreciate her language in describing my, as of yet, unknown reaction to this very large issue that could affect the rest of our marriage/life." His wife eventually apologised for making him make the decision and instead decided for herself that she was going to go through with it and booked out a hotel room where her co-workers were having a sending-off party for the other man in the equation. She told her husband that she hoped he would still be there when she returned and that she would be willing to answer any question he had about the night. He concluded: "Part of me thinks, at least she has been honest with me and she has been through a lot since finding out she had cancer so maybe I should just let it happen. I certainly have no concept of what she went through so I cannot dismiss how this affected her mental state/outlook on life. Her BFF called me callous for even suggesting that I wouldn’t let it happen, because I have no idea what she went through. Pornstar Riley Reid has claimed that she a colleague managed to convince a fan to come back to their hotel room and film a scene with them. 32-year-old Reid shared a photoshoot of herself and OnlyFans creator Rara Knupps on Instagram on Friday wearing matching lingerie, lounging suggestively on a sofa and drinking champagne. The caption for the post, which has been liked more than 172,000 times, saw Reid write: "Last night we convinced a fanboy to come to our room & film a video with us. Right-wing commentator Ben Shapiro is appalled that Lena Dunham is set to direct a Polly Pocket movie after the success of Greta Gerwig's Barbie, already calling the film "feminist garbage". In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, titled "more feminist garbage coming to a theatre near you", the 39-year-old spent the latter part of the 10-minute video complaining about the newly announced movie, after he'd spent 40 minutes (plus another 40 in two more videos) criticising the Barbie movie which has gone on to make $500 million at the global box office in a week. It was announced this week that Lena Dunham was set to direct a 'Polly Pocket' movie starring Lily Collins. Not only was Polly Pocket announced but Mattel also said that Barney, Hot Wheels, American Girl Dolls, and more were also getting the movie star treatment. "Now we are getting the Polly Pocket movie that is going to be directed by Lena Dunham, who is a trash person," Shapiro exclaims as he discusses the announcement. Now, people are calling for the rivalry to get a reboot – and some even want a Sindy movie. He also burned a Barbie and Ken doll. The 39-year-old, who mostly objected to the "smug" message of the film was promptly roasted for his scorching hot take and as a result felt compelled to make another video about how badly he was treated because of his views. In the second view shared on Tuesday, titled "Barbie Is Garbage, But You’re Not Allowed To Say So," Shapiro spent 20 minutes of a 1-hour video talking about the reaction to his reaction to the movie. This debate is for 30 minutes and if you enjoy this sort of format for a video then they both make valid point depending on how much you enjoyed the movie. A dedicated dad has gone viral for dressing up in a pink leotard and tutu to take his young daughter to see ‘Barbie’ at the cinema. Eleazar Rodríguez Hernández took his daughter to see the hit film starring Margot Robbie on its opening weekend. He explained: “My daughter said ‘Daddy take me to the premiere of Barbie, but wear something pink or are you too embarrassed?’” He added: “I think the one who's going to be embarrassed is her!” In the images, Rodríguez is seen sporting a pink leotard and white tutu along with a broad grin.
