Singer Britney Spears has revealed why she posts so many nude pictures on Instagram, giving an understandable explanation in her memoir. The 41-year-old pop icon recently released a tell-all book, titled The Woman in Me, detailing shocking new revelations about her life and opening up about headline-making moments like shaving off her hair in 2007 and her break up with Justin Timberlake. Since Spears’ 13-year-long conservatorship ended in November 2021, she has regained control over how own life as well as her social media accounts and regularly posts pictures of herself in underwear or wearing nothing at all. While the posts sometimes baffle fans, she explained why she does it in her memoir, writing that she gets “joy” from being in control over her own body and image. She wrote: “I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses. “But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posting the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture.” It is not the first time Spears has addressed the nudity on her social media page. Taylor Lautner has revealed all of the inconveniences of being married to someone also called Taylor Lautner. His wife, formerly Taylor Dorne, took the actor's name when they got married, however, despite its humorous nature, it's actually a bit of a pain. Speaking on the Good Guys podcast, he revealed: "TSA, airport, they'll be like which one of you is Taylor? And we're like 'both of us', and they're like 'which one of you is Taylor Lautner?', also both of us!" "They're like 'ehh this seems fishy', we're gonna send you to security." Goldie Hawn has claimed that she had a truly unique experience when she was in her 20s, having supposedly been ‘touched on the face’ by aliens. The actress has long been a believer in UFOs and she spoke about them in a new interview with the Apple Fitness+ audio feature Time to Walk. Hawn claims the incident took place when she was working as a dancer when she was in her early 20s in California. “That was a time when, you know, there was a lot of UFO sightings," she said. "I remember this so clearly: I went outside my door, and I sat on the little ledge, and I looked up at the dark sky. And I saw all these stars. And all I could think of was, 'How far does this go? How little are we? Are we the only planet in the whole wide universe that has life on it?'" Hawn then recounted how she called out to any UFOs that were listening, saying: "I know you're out there, I know we're not alone, and I would like to meet you one day." Four months later, according to Hawn, she was working at another job in California when she took a nap in a friend’s car. There she heard a “high-pitched sound in my ear” and saw three "triangular-shaped heads”. She said: "They were silver in color, slash for a mouth, tiny little nose, no ears. They were pointing at me, pointing at me in the car as if they were discussing me like I was a subject. And they were droning.” The actress then said they "touched me, and it felt like the finger of God. It was the most benevolent, loving feeling. This was powerful. It was filled with light”. Reflecting on the experience, she said: "We can never ever lose our wonder. It's just no fun. It's really an important aspect of being an adventurer, where nothing is impossible." John Cena has shared a new TikTok video of himself signing autographs for fans - and he's such a pro he no longer needs to even look at the paper. In the clip, the WWE star has an assistant moving each image after he's signed it so he can get through more in one go, however, despite his speed, he can look straight into the camera while he does it. Kai Cenat is no stranger to celebrity guests, having welcomed the likes of SZA and Drake on Twitch over recent times, and he used his latest chat with Nicki Minaj to tease a big upcoming project. The streamer spoke with the rapper live on his feed, announcing an event which is likely to excite fans – all while snacking on a bag of chips. However, some fans were temporarily concerned after Cenat stated that he will be going to jail for seven days. Only, he’s not going to be behind bars for real. Instead, he was referring to his upcoming “7 Days In” project, where he’ll be joined by celebs as they live stream themselves spending a week in jail. Speaking to Minaj, he teased the project and asked whether Minaj would bail him out of jail in real life. “I’m about to go to jail,” Cenat said. “What?” a shocked Nicki replied. “You got my bail? You gonna bail me out, or nah?” Kai asked her. “Why are you going to jail?” Nicki said again. “Seven days, it’s crazy, for real. ‘Cause I have to,” he went on to say, before denying that he was heading to jail due to his fans causing a riot in New York recently. While Minaj said she would bail him out in a hypothetical situation, Cenat was really referring to his plans for ‘7 Days In’. So far, the likes of Offset, YouTubers RDC World and streamer YourRage are all involved. It comes a few months after Cenat expressed his disappointment at fans who rioted during his New York giveaway. In August, Kai held a huge giveaway at Union Square that saw gaming consoles given away. More than 6,000 people were said to have attended the event which soon turned sour. Taylor Swift fans were certainly in for a treat this year. The star not only showcased her hotly anticipated Eras Tour across the world but also surprised diehards with a film dedicated to her sold-out shows. Now, famed cinema giant AMC has given Swifties the chance to buy merchandise, with a collectable bucket and cup set for $24.99 on their website. Fans were ecstatic to learn the news and turned to X/Twitter to share their excitement to get their hands on the bundle. "22-minute wait to buy Taylor Swift The Eras Tour #AMC Movie Bundles on the merch site. Gotta love Swifties," one person wrote with a screenshot of the website explaining the site was "experiencing a high volume of traffic". Another noted: "Taylor Swift has people waiting in a 25-minute queue for a popcorn bucket and people say she isn’t the most popular artist alive right now." The merch was initially under AMC's 'merchandise' tab in the right-hand corner but has since seemed to have sold out. Many more fans experienced the disappointment firsthand, with one writing: "The one time I’m not on social media all day AMC puts the only piece of Taylor Swift merch I want (pink popcorn tin) online and I it sells out before I know about it." Another wrote: "I got into the AMC merch site and I can’t find any of the Taylor Swift stuff. They must’ve sold out" It's not all bad news though, as the AMC website suggests supplies are still available in some cinemas while supplies last. It comes after the 'Blank Space' singer released the film a day earlier than initially planned. "I can’t thank you enough for wanting to see this film that so vividly captures my favorite adventure I’ve ever been a part of: The Eras Tour," Swift shared on Instagram. Laura Woods has slammed a misogynist troll who sexually harassed her online, following her on-air failed handshake with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag this week. The TNT Sports presenter had retweeted a video of ten Hag accidentally leaving her hanging when she tried to shake his hand at the end of an interview. In the clip, she turns to the camera and laughs, shaking her hand in the air after the football manager inadvertently turned away her offer of a handshake. Unfortunately, one creepy troll on X/Twitter decided this was the time to make an unwanted sexual advance on the journalist. Woods hit back: “And will you provide the microscope too?” Surprisingly, the troll account has not yet taken down the post, despite the fact that commenters flocked to support Woods. Her tweet has over 7.3m views and 53,900 likes with most of the 2,000 reposts and thousands of replies praising Woods. One person replied with a crown emoji saying: “LAURA WOODS YOU DROPPED THIS.” Meanwhile, somebody else replied directly to the troll, saying: “Steven, based on your follows it doesn't look like hands are your preference. You stinky boy.” We’ll leave readers to check out who the person follows… Another person said: “I’d deactivate if I was you 😭 man just got ended.” And one other posted a video of wrestler Edge slapping John Cena's father during a famous WWE storyline. Paris Hilton has hit back at people on the internet who mocked the physical appearance of her baby boy, Phoenix. The reality television stalwart had posted a picture of the child, who is nine months old, on Instagram, saying it was her “precious angel baby’s” first time in New York. But some commenters picked up on the size of Phoenix’s head. One person joked: “Y’all he’s just got a lot on his mind leave the kid alone.” Others speculated whether or not Phoenix’s large head was a result of a medical condition. Hotel heiress Hilton responded in the comments section: “There are some sick people in this world. “My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.” Hilton and her husband, businessman Carter Reum, welcomed Phoenix on 16 January. They married in 2021. After he was born, she told People magazine: “It’s always been my dream to be a mother, and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. “We are so excited to start our family together, and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.” Her post featuring the child is the latest example of a celebrity posting a picture of their young children online, also known as sharenting, which has become an increasingly controversial practice. Some experts say parents should avoid posting pictures of their children until they are old enough to give consent. Earlier this year, politicians in France even put forward a bill which would stop mums and dads from making money by posting photos and videos of their kids. Nonetheless, commenters’ jibes on Hilton’s Instagram seem particularly cruel, given Phoenix has no way of defending himself. The negativity surrounding the post even made its way as far as TikTok, where one user posted a video defending the child. They said: “I think Phoenix is adorable... You know he just has a big head because he has a small body and he’s gonna grow into it. “And I also wanna bet that he’s a much cuter baby than most of these people in the comments were when they were babies... The harrowing revelations in Britney Spears’s new memoir are an uncomfortable reminder of how women were treated in the ‘90s and noughties. Objectification, ridicule and “slut”-shaming were a core part of the so-called lads culture that shaped so much of popular culture at the time. Now, anyone thinking, “It can’t have been that bad,” should take a look at a video montage that’s been doing the rounds on social media. The one-minute clip was shared by fitness influencer Hayley Madigan earlier this month, with the caption: “POV: You grew up in the 90’s and now realise why your relationship with your body was so bad…” The round-up begins with an excerpt from an interview between Dutch TV presenter Ivo Niehe and a 17-year-old Britney. Somewhat breathlessly, he tells her: “Everyone’s talking about it…” prompting the teenager to innocently ask: “What?” “Well, he replies, your breasts.” It then cuts to American radio star Howard Stern telling former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith: “The way you dress and stuff, I don’t think you’re aware that you’re a heavy-set woman.” “I know I’m a big woman, so what?” she replies. He then tells her he’s been “guessing her weight” and asks her to step on some scales to check how well he did. We then see Scott Disick telling Kourtney Kardashian: “If I would have fallen in love with you a couple pounds overweight (sic), this would be my ideal weight, but I fell in love with you when you were super skinny." Next, it’s the turn of Simon Cowell, who tells an X Factor contestant that she “sounds nice but looks like a shop girl.” Clarifying, she says: “I’m overweight, basically,” to which he responds: “You really are.” Speaking of weight (and people did, a lot), we’re then treated to a clip from the now-axed Channel 4 show TFI Friday. The segment, from 1999, was filmed just two months after Victoria Beckham gave birth to her first son Brooklyn. After asking her how she got back into shape after the birth, host Chris Evans then asks if her weight was now “back to normal”. She tells him that “it is”, but he’s not satisfied. “Can I check?” he then asks, jumping from his seat and leading her to a set of bathroom scales. The penultimate excerpt is taken from a Jay Leno monologue, in which he tells viewers of his Tonight Show: “Monica Lewinsky said that President Clinton would often compliment her on her figure. “He would say things like, ‘Oh, you look skinny today.’” Pausing, Leno then doled out his punchline, saying: “You know, if you didn’t think this guy was the biggest liar in the world before…” which was met with peals of laughter from his audience. Finally, another scene from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, in which Bruce (now Caitlin) Jenner, tells his step-daughter Khloé: “I’ll get shot for bringing this up but don’t you think you should lose a few pounds?” Shaking her head dejectedly, she simply replies: “What?” The compilation racked up more than 5.4 million views and 200,000 likes in just three weeks on Madigan’s Instagram alone. In a statement accompanying the reel, the self-styled “female empowerment” guru wrote: “Whether it was in magazines, on talk shows or on reality TV… we continuously watched women get criticised. “We watched men talk negatively about women’s appearances, about their weight, about their body autonomy… and this complete disregard for women’s dignity forced a societal pressure amongst many of us who were growing up watching it.” Reflecting on her own response, she went on: “I constantly compared myself even at the young age of 12 I remember wanting to be as skinny as possible like the models on the TV. I had no desire to be anything but exactly what they looked like and I deemed them to be perfect. “I constantly heard negative opinions about women who weren’t perfect, women who weren’t small and women who didn’t fit the ideal stereotype that men created.” Wrapping up her message, she continued: “Seeing these talk shows and reality TV clips hits hard, women weren’t treated equally, we were continuously degraded and this put pressure on all of us growing up.” Then, concluding on a note of optimism, she added: “We’ve still not got to where we want to be but I feel somewhat change is happening and we will make sure the generations to come don’t endure the same pressure and issues we faced back then.” Commentators were quick to share their horror at the montage, with many condemning what they termed “male audacity” at the time. Jake Paul has responded to allegations that he was taking cocaine at his brother's recent boxing match against Tommy Fury. In a 16-minute YouTube video dedicated to the claims, the influencer played up to the storyline, planting Coca Cola in the frame and throwing white powder around. However, he maintains that drugs didn't play any part in his behaviour at the fight. "Everyone knows I'm the most sweatiest person in the world", he joked, adding that getting in the ring with his sweaty brother didn't help the situation.
