WWE are reportedly working on a deal to have Cristiano Ronaldo appear at an upcoming show in Saudi Arabia. The sports entertainment promotion, which was recently purchased as a part of a huge merger with UFC are due to host their annual Crown Jewel show on November 4th. Reports from AS are now suggesting that Ronaldo could make a surprise appearance at the show and are working on a deal to secure the Portuguese football icon which would come with a "large appearance fee." It has not been stated what sort of capacity Ronaldo would appear on the show, should it be a match or just a segment but would be seen as a major coup for the WWE should they bag the 38-year-old who made the move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr last year. Speaking to the Metro in December 2022, WWE superstar Apollo Crews believes that Ronaldo could flourish should he make the move to wrestling. He said: "Honestly, with that mentality to be a top athlete in the world on that level, I think just on the mentality alone he would've done okay. 'When you start the physical part, that's a different story, though, for most people. But again, [he's] a world-class athlete so I wouldn't put it past him.'" At the time of writing WWE is yet to speak on the matter with journalist Sean Ross Sapp confirming that he did speak to them but they didn't give an answer on the subject. Should Ronaldo appear at the show there is a strong likelihood that he could be rubbing shoulders with WWE legend John Cena who has been featured in a promotional video for Riyadh Season 2023 which hints that the event will include the participation of John Cena. Ronaldo wouldn't be the first footballing name to make an appearance on WWE television with Wayne Rooney famously getting physically involved at a Raw event in Manchester in 2015. Ukraine has rejected a number of defective German tanks after discovering they were not working properly. Ten Leopard 1 tanks, the predecessor to the superior Leopard 2, were returned after the Ukrainian army noticed they had “serious technical issues” on delivery to Rzeszów, Poland, in July. Germany admitted the vehicles were not working properly and would need further repairs before being used in Kyiv’s counteroffensive, after sending engineers to inspect them, according to German newspaper Der Spiegel. It is not clear if the fault is a result of wear and tear or their manufacture. Taylor Swift is known for dropping musical Easter eggs, and with the release of 1989 (Taylor's Version) on the horizon, a new Google game has appeared where fans can unlock the album vault track titles and features. In a post to Instagram, the pop star shared a clip of the 1989 blue and seagull-themed vault, where the vault opened to reveal different letter flying letters - a similar rollout to her previous re-recordings Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version) back in 2021. "You can tell me when the *search* is over… if the high was worth the pain," the caption read, referring to the commencement of "the search," as well as lyrically referencing the 1989 hit song Blank Space. If you Google 'Taylor Swift' now, a graphic of a blue vault sitting in the sand will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the search results. Once clicked on, a series of jumbled letters appear on the screen in different colours along with a hint at the bottom to help fans figure out the word. Altogether there are 89 puzzles to solve in total but Swifties need to collectively solve a whopping 33m (Swift is 33 years old) puzzles globally to unlock the vault, and the fandom has made it their mission to complete the challenge. At the time of writing, over 27.2m puzzles have been solved. After quickly realising the mission, the Google page was inundated with Swifties desperately to join in - so much so that they "jammed" the vault due to demand with the search engine providing an update. (With some Swift-based lyrical puns, of course). Since then it looks like the vault is working as fans get closer to cracking it open...
