The City defender was forced off with a problem in Tuesday’s Champions League win over Young Boys with boss Pep Guardiola admitting it is “deep bad news”. Stones only returned to action in October after a two-month absence with hamstring and hip problems but Southgate had no hesitation in starting him in the important qualifying win over Italy. But with qualification for the summer’s tournament in Germany already secured, Southgate – who names his squad on Thursday – can afford to look at his back-up options. Brighton captain Lewis Dunk and AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori started together in last month’s friendly win over Australia but Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi was the man Southgate opted to replace Stones for the final 27 minutes against Italy and has the most caps of the trio. Injuries to Ben Chilwell and Luke Shaw meant Kieran Trippier filled in at left-back against Italy but Chelsea’s Levi Colwill started against Australia and could be another one to benefit from any experimentation. An amused Starbucks customer has exposed the uniquely cut sandwich they got at the coffee chain. Thinking she could split the lunch item with her husband, one Redditor asked to have her turkey pesto cut in half – but didn’t expect the outcome she received. On 6 November, Vivian Hargis (u/natasbby) took to the online network to reveal the unforeseen lengthy, half-cut Starbucks sandwich. In the image shared on the platform, Vivian’s sandwich was settled on top of the Starbucks branded bag. The turkey, provolone, and pesto offering was served on a long ciabatta roll. However, rather than being split in two horizontally, the Starbucks attendant had cut the bread vertically, resulting in two ultra thin halves. “Hubby and I wanted to split a sandwich. I asked if it was possible if they could cut it in half. The barista said ‘of course no problem!’... guess I should’ve been more specific,” Vivian’s caption read. Flocks of humoured Reddit users headed straight to Vivian’s comment section, admitting they’d been guilty of cutting sandwiches the uncommon way too. One user said: “One time someone asked for a spinach feta wrap cut in half and my coworker cut it like this and then forgot to give her the other half.” “I love this because it was so much harder for them to cut it like this,” another Redditor wrote. “It’s giving malicious compliance lmfaooooo,” someone else quipped. A curious viewer questioned whether Vivian had asked for her food to be “cut in half” or “cut in two,” noticing the direction printed on the Starbucks ticket which read: “Cut in two.” “We actually got two sandwiches, both cut in half. (He couldn’t decide which he wanted so we split both) and I asked for them to be cut in half. The other one was cut in half like I expected,” Vivian said. “I expect whoever was on food was irritated the barista on (drive thru) told me they would cut them.” “Not going to lie I’ve done this before,” a fellow service worker admitted to which Vivian replied: “We got a good chuckle out of it. Watching him shove half of it down it one bite was quite the picture.” Speaking to Today, Vivian further expressed her amusement, noting how her parents convinced her to post the picture on Reddit. “It was hilarious, we both had a good laugh about it, and my parents thought it was hilarious, too,” Vivian told the outlet. “They were like: ‘Put that on Reddit!’ That’s when I put it on,” she added, referring to her parents’ pleas. The Independent has contacted Vivian and Starbucks for comment. The popular coffee chain recently launched their lauded holiday drinks, reviving fan favourites from years past and re-introducing one drink that hasn’t been around for a while. Donald Trump is no stranger to grabbing headlines – among other things – but some of the most questionable of these things he’s said and done in the past are disturbingly about his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump. From saying he’d have sex with her to touching her inappropriately, the list is exhaustive. It's unclear whether these comments are intended as "jokes" or he simply doesn't realise the problematic nature of what he's saying. Either way, here’s our attempt at documenting all of the super inappropriate things Trump has said or done about or to his daughter. 1. Ivanka sitting on her dad’s lap, as they both sit on a statue of parrots having sex 1996, Vanity Fair 2. ‘Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?’ When Ivanka was just 16 years old, she hosted the Miss Teen USA pageant and Donald Trump reportedly made the comment in front of the crowd. 3. ‘She's got the best body.’ In 2003, while on The Howard Stern Show, Trump said: "You know who's one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her? Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She's six feet tall. She's got the best body." Good to know. 4. ‘Every guy in the country wants to go out with my daughter.’ In 2004, New York Magazine quoted Trump as having said: "Let me tell you one thing: Ivanka is a great, great beauty. Every guy in the country wants to go out with my daughter. But she’s got a boyfriend." A very very weird flex. 5. Trump agreed Ivanka is a “piece of ass” He said this in 2004, on The Howard Stern Show. Seems to be his favourite place to make awful remarks. 6. ‘She’s actually always been very voluptuous.' Yet again on The Howard Stern Show, this time in 2006, Trump thought it appropriate to discuss his daughter's body, mentioning how "voluptuous" she is, followed by: "She's tall, she's almost 6 feet tall and she's been, she's an amazing beauty." 7. ‘I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.’ Absolutely no comment on this one. It happened in 2006, on The View. Very gross. 8. ‘I was going to say sex’ In 2013, Wendy Williams asked what two things Ivanka and Donald had in common when they both appeared on her show. Ivanka responded "real estate" and "golf" but Trump said: "Well, I was going to say sex but I can’t relate that." 9. When he put both hands on her hips In July 2016 at the Republican National Convention Ivanka introduced her dad on stage. He proceeded to kiss her on both cheeks then put his hands on her hips for literally no discernible reason. 10. If I weren’t happily married and, you know, her father...' In 2015, in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he said: ‘Yeah, [Ivanka's] really something and what a beauty, that one." He then made the "if I weren't her father" comment and trailed off. We'll let you decide what he was going to end on. 11. ‘[I kiss Ivanka] with every chance I get.’ When the host of the Dr Oz Show remarked that "It’s nice to see a dad kiss his daughter", Trump reportedly responded: "[I kiss Ivanka] with every chance I get."
