The Tories have been roasted for revealing their levels of delusion via a graphic attacking the Labour Party. Responding to a story about a Labour u-turn on a policy to introduce rent controls in the housing sector, the Tories implied that Labour were in a state of chaos - ironically. They wrote: "Labour flip flopped on housing no less than a few hours ago…. How Sir flip flop can preach about housing is a joke," before adding a graphic which said "0 days since last incident". The issue they were responding to was the opposition party ditching a pledge to control surging rents if it wins the next general election – nine months after endorsing the policy. At a conference, Lisa Nandy called the approach as a "sticking plaster" and claimed it would increase homelessness. Michael Chandler has insisted that his fight with Conor McGregor will go ahead, despite fears that the latter has missed the deadline to compete in 2023. Chandler vs McGregor was announced by the UFC in February, but no date, location or weight class has been announced for the fight, and it appears that McGregor is unable to compete until next year due to United States Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) rules. The former UFC champion is seemingly still absent from the Usada testing pool, and athletes must be in the pool for six months and return two negative results – and zero negatives – in order to fight in the UFC. However, Chandler has reassured fans that the fight will go ahead – regardless of when. The American, 37, told ESPN on Wednesday (28 June): “Listen, I understand everybody wants answers, they want results. With a fight of this magnitude – the most exciting guy in mixed martial arts versus the biggest superstar in mixed martial arts – people want answers, and they want them on their timeline. “Their timeline is now. ‘I want my answers yesterday.’ I’m with everybody else, of course, but just let the process play out. Just know that Michael Chandler steps in the cage against Conor McGregor, we put on an electrifying event, and I separate him from his consciousness in the second round. “If there’s one thing I know about Conor: He cares about his public persona, he cares about how people see him, he cares about where he is now and what he has become to the fans. McGregor, 34, was accused of assault in a bathroom at a Miami Heat fixture on 9 June. Tickets have gone on sale for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour in Australia, and such is the demand Aussies have warned American fans "stay in your own country." The pop star is set to play five dates Down Under - two nights at Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 16 and 17 and then three nights at Sydney’s Accor Stadium from February 23, 24, and 25. After an American Express presale took place earlier this week, and with presale tickets and VIP packages on sale for fans who registered with Frontier Touring today (Sydney at 10 am and Melbourne at 2 pm), Aussie Swifties have expressed their nerves about getting their hands on tickets. Despite the 50 US tour dates, 14 million Americans attempted to buy pre-sale tickets – with only 1.5 million available on sale, leaving many disappointed American Swifties. Many have argued that Americans shouldn't buy tickets to other countries as they have already had a 50-date tour, and that demand is high enough in Australia because there are only five dates - without the addition of fans coming from another country. "I want to see no trace about people being rude to you because you've been warned," one Australian Swiftie said on TikTok. The fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is “likely” to happen, according to Musk’s training partner. The billionaires are said to be facing off in a cage fight in the coming months, after the Twitter CEO said that he was “up for a cage match” after rumours emerged that the Meta boss was working on a Twitter rival. Podcast host Lex Fridman, who trains in Brazilian jiu jitsu and holds a first-degree black belt, posted an update after spending a session with Musk. He posted two images of the pair working together, writing: “I did an impromptu training session with @elonmusk for a few hours yesterday. It's really inspiring to see Elon and Mark doing martial arts, but I think the world is served far better if they train martial arts but not fight in the cage.” He added: “That said, as Elon says, the most entertaining outcome is the most likely...
