A woman walked out on drinks with her friend all thanks to a crying baby. Posting on Reddit, the woman explained that her and her friend, both aged 27, went to a brewery for happy hour drinks but was disturbed by a baby at the next table. "He [was] eating some mac and cheese and just yelling 'awawawa', over and over in the minute we were near the baby," she explained. She added: "He seemed happy, but I don't like babies yelling, crying, or really making noise. It really bothers me." So, she asked my friend if she wanted to move tables and told her she didn't want to be near a yelling baby. But the friend disagreed, and said "she thought the baby was cute and funny." They argued for a while and her friend said she was being "an asshole. So, she left. Reacting to her story, some people had her back. "I wouldn’t want to be near a screaming baby, either," one said. "You have choices and you made one." Another said: "It’s fine if you didn’t want to sit there. It’s fine that she didn’t want to move." But others thought she was in the wrong. "It’s a brewery, not a bar," one said. "Almost all breweries I’ve ever seen are family friendly." Another wrote: "Breweries that have restaurants and serve food, are for families too. They are not meant to be bars. If you don’t want children around, don’t go to a restaurant. Go to a club or a bar." What do you think? A Lizzo "signature meal" at McDonald’s has been shared on social media – only, it’s completely fake, and circulated in an attempt to body shame the singer. The fake post features a picture of McDonald’s burgers, fries and nuggets, claiming to be a news report. The post states that the “New McDonald’s ‘Lizzo Meal’ is coming out”, before adding that the offer “Consists of 10 burgers, 95 nuggets & 6 Diet Cokes”. Claiming that all of the food in the post is Lizzo’s “daily meal”, which is a clear attempt to body shame the 35-year-old. The fake post comes in the aftermath of the allegations made against Lizzo this year. It was reported earlier this summer that Lizzo was being sued by former members of her dance troupe for sexual harassment and weight-shaming. The singer responded to the 44-page lawsuit on social media, telling fans that “there is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world”. She described the allegations as being “as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous not to be addressed”. Meanwhile, in an interview recorded days before lawsuit allegations were made public, Lizzo hinted that something was making her 'sad', prompting speculation she knew the storm was coming. A pre-recorded 60 Minutes interview has been released, in which producers were totally unaware of what was to come. "Even today, I was having a rough day. I was sad and stuff earlier today", she told host Tom Steinfort. "And I still feel like for some reason, even if I'm having a bad day or I'm going through something, people still get good from it. Convicted killer Alex Murdaugh is demanding a new trial for the murders of his wife and son on the basis that Colleton County Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill allegedly pressured jurors on the case to return a guilty verdict against him. The disgraced legal scion’s attorneys Dick Harpootlian and Jim Griffin filed the motion Tuesday alleging the clerk tampered with the jury because she was driven by fame and a desire to secure a book deal. Specifically, they claim she instructed jurors not to be “misled” by evidence presented by the defence and told them not to be “fooled by” Murdaugh’s testimony when he took the stand. The development comes one week after the convicted killer lost some of his inmate privileges after he fed information to Fox Nation documentary “The Fall of the House of Murdaugh” without permission from officials. In the documentary, his son Buster broke his silence as he insisted that he still believes his father is innocent but admitted that he may be a psychopath. Murdaugh is behind bars at the McCormick Correctional Institution where he is serving two life sentences for the 7 June 2021 murders of his wife Maggie and son Paul.
