Harry Styles really got a buzz cut as latest photos confirm his new look
Harry Styles did shave off his beloved locks as new clearer images confirm the singer has a buzz cut - and fans are beside themselves. (If you have friends who are Harry stans, maybe check in on them and see how they are doing). There had been rumours swirling that the As It Was singer changed up his hair when a grainy photo of him was taken at a U2 concert in Las Vegas. The image was also shared over the weekend by celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi. While Styles did look different in the photo, his dedicated fans couldn't quite believe it. But now the evidence is undeniable as clearer images of Styles with his new look have been reported by TMZ. In the clip, the Grammy Award winner can be seen enjoying the music alongside rumoured girlfriend and Bones and All actor Taylor Russell. Fans have been sharing their thoughts and reactions to Styles's "Baldryy era," while also mourning the fact that his luscious locks are gone. One person said: "Baldrry was never in my 2023 bingo card." "He’s not Harry Styles anymore just Styles," another person wrote. Someone else added: "This MIGHT be the worst thing that’s happened to me." "Trying to convince myself that that’s a doppelganger," a fourth person commented. Many have joked that Styles shaved his head in response to a recent Taylor Swift Vault track from 1989 (Taylor's Version) called 'Now That We Don't Talk.' As one line from the song goes: "You grew your hair long / You got new icons." Though there are some who are a fan of the buzz cut look on Styles. The buzz cut has certainly divided the fandom, but all would agree they are looking forward to seeing what Styles does next. Chris Kamara shares heartwarming selfie with Ben Shepard after 'emotional' GMB interview
Chris Kamara has shared a heartwarming photo of himself with Ben Shephard following his emotional Good Morning Britain interview where he opened up about living speech apraxia. The former footballer was on the show to discuss his upcoming memoir My Unbelievable Life and his current health condition. Apraxia of speech (AOS) is a neurological disorder and it affects where natural motor functions in the body, causing problems with talking. At one point during the interview, Shephard could be seen giving Kamara a warm hug as the 65-year-old couldn't hold back the tear when discussing how it "doesn't define who you are." Following the interview, Kamara took to Twitter/X to share a wholesome selfie of himself with Shephard as he thanked everyone for their support. "Big thank you to everyone who sent a message to me today, Sorry I was an emotional wreck on @GMB - Would you believe I really am getting through this & @benshephard as you saw is there for me," he wrote. “My apologies to everybody out there who has got a speech condition, because it doesn’t define who you are,” the former footballer said during the interview. “I get upset talking about it, because I was in denial, I was ashamed that I couldn’t speak.” To which Susanna Reid replied: You've nothing to be ashamed of, honestly, let me just take your hand for a second Chris. Honestly, you've done so much to inspire other people." "Ben [Shephard] was behind me coming out and doing the documentary, talking about it. Once I had spoken about it, you get it off your chest, you realise everyone's behind you... family, friends, all with you... no matter what happens," Kamara said of the support he received from Shephard. Shephard told Kamara: "Chris, it doesn't change how we feel about you, you need to understand that." To which Kamara added: "Can I say a big thanks to you, Ben, because none of this would have happened without your help!" ""I want a hug!" Shephard said before getting up from his chair as the pair shared a warm hug. "Laura can you go to the weather or something please, this is very embarrassing [over getting teary live on air]," Shephard said afterwards. Viewers also took to Twitter/X to share their support for Kamara, calling him a "legend" and "national treasure." What is 'swatting' and why is it stopping Adin Ross streams and 'forcing Adriana Chechik to move house'?
"Swatting" has caused an Adin Ross stream to be interrupted, and porn legend-turned-Twitch star Adriana Chechik previously revealed that she’s being so badly swatted, she’s going to have to move house. The adult entertainer previously issued a damning rebuke of “beyond childish” pranksters, who have been blighting her life for months. In a furious tweet, Chechik, 31, explained that the emergency services had been called to her house on 12 separate occasions, as she urged the culprits to “grow up”. “Y’all suck so hard. I’m gonna have to move with this swatting sh*t,” she wrote. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter “You are literally taking police who should be helping people and having them swat me? 8x and 4x for firefighters to come is beyond childish.” For the uninitiated, “swatting” refers to a nefarious trend which largely targets streamers like Chechik. It involves a troll finding out their victim’s address or location and then making a hoax phone call to the emergency services, claiming that there’s extreme violence taking place there. The idea is to make the lie sound as urgent and threatening as possible to prompt an armed response – hence “SWAT”. The perpetrator then keeps their fingers crossed that the police will raid the home during the streamer’s broadcast so that they can watch the dramatic action unfold live on camera. And whilst some would argue that swatting is just an elaborate prank, most will tell you it is, in fact, a dangerous crime that puts lives at risk. In one high-profile instance back in 2019, a teenage Call of Duty player swatted an opponent after losing a game. Police showed up at the wrong address, then shot and killed a totally innocent father-of-two. It is also, as Chechik pointed out in her tweet, a complete waste of the emergency services’ time, that should be dedicated to legitimate crises. One of the most horrific aspects of the 32-year-old’s plight is that she was attacked by swatters even as she recovered from a near-life-threatening injury. In October last year, she broke her back in two places after jumping into a foam pit at TwitchCon, San Diego, which left her facing months of surgery and gruelling rehabilitation. She also lost her unborn child as a result of the accident – later revealing that, unbeknownst to her, she was pregnant at the time. And yet, some of her followers – who seem unfamiliar with the very concept of human decency – decided it would be fun to ambush her. In December, as Chechik lay bedbound, she tweeted: “Tell me how some internet trolls are gonna swat a person whose back is still healing from being broken. Some twitch chatters are a whole different breed of small d**k idiots. “The cops know me now. We legit talk about our life because this happens so much.” Based on her latest complaint, the situation has only escalated since then. But, at least, she suggested action is being taken to find those responsible. One of her fans responded to her tweet, saying: “Moving I think would only give you a brief respite from the bampots, and then it would start again. Time to get a lawyer and PI involved and start to sue the c**p out of both the city for having inadequate response to being repeat called and the people calling them on you.” Chechik replied simply: “[Already on it!!]” Of course, this is not a game, but we hope she nails those swatters once and for all. All the times Trump was completely inappropriate with his daughter Ivanka
Donald Trump is no stranger to grabbing headlines – among other things – but some of the most questionable of these things he’s said and done in the past are disturbingly about his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump. From saying he’d have sex with her to touching her inappropriately, the list is exhaustive. It's unclear whether these comments are intended as "jokes" or he simply doesn't realise the problematic nature of what he's saying. Either way, here’s our attempt at documenting all of the super inappropriate things Trump has said or done about or to his daughter. 1. Ivanka sitting on her dad’s lap, as they both sit on a statue of parrots having sex 1996, Vanity Fair 2. ‘Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?’ When Ivanka was just 16 years old, she hosted the Miss Teen USA pageant and Donald Trump reportedly made the comment in front of the crowd. 3. ‘She's got the best body.’ In 2003, while on The Howard Stern Show, Trump said: "You know who's one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her? Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She's six feet tall. She's got the best body." Good to know. 4. ‘Every guy in the country wants to go out with my daughter.’ In 2004, New York Magazine quoted Trump as having said: "Let me tell you one thing: Ivanka is a great, great beauty. Every guy in the country wants to go out with my daughter. But she’s got a boyfriend." A very very weird flex. 5. Trump agreed Ivanka is a “piece of ass” He said this in 2004, on The Howard Stern Show. Seems to be his favourite place to make awful remarks. 6. ‘She’s actually always been very voluptuous.' Yet again on The Howard Stern Show, this time in 2006, Trump thought it appropriate to discuss his daughter's body, mentioning how "voluptuous" she is, followed by: "She's tall, she's almost 6 feet tall and she's been, she's an amazing beauty." 7. ‘I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.’ Absolutely no comment on this one. It happened in 2006, on The View. Very gross. 8. ‘I was going to say sex’ In 2013, Wendy Williams asked what two things Ivanka and Donald had in common when they both appeared on her show. Ivanka responded "real estate" and "golf" but Trump said: "Well, I was going to say sex but I can’t relate that." 9. When he put both hands on her hips In July 2016 at the Republican National Convention Ivanka introduced her dad on stage. He proceeded to kiss her on both cheeks then put his hands on her hips for literally no discernible reason. 10. If I weren’t happily married and, you know, her father...' In 2015, in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he said: ‘Yeah, [Ivanka's] really something and what a beauty, that one." He then made the "if I weren't her father" comment and trailed off. We'll let you decide what he was going to end on. 11. ‘[I kiss Ivanka] with every chance I get.’ When the host of the Dr Oz Show remarked that "It’s nice to see a dad kiss his daughter", Trump reportedly responded: "[I kiss Ivanka] with every chance I get." The moment never made it to air but multiple witnesses claim they heard it. Is anyone else creeped out yet? Sign up to our new free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. 5 things we learnt from Robbie Williams' explosive Netflix doc
Robbie Williams' highly anticipated docuseries has officially dropped on Netflix – and nothing was off limits. The four-part series kicked off by showing a 16-year-old Robbie joining Take That alongside Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald. Despite being an instant hit, Robbie left the band five years later. The remaining four members parted ways the following year. Now, the 49-year-old is looking back at his lifetime spent in the spotlight, with never-seen-before footage. Robbie Williams | Official Trailer | Netflix www.youtube.com Here are five of the major talking points from the show: What happened between him and collaborator Guy Chambers? In one of the eps, Robbie shared how the partnership between him and Guy Chambers started to break down in the early 2000s, explaining how he felt restricted when his song 'Come Undone' was dismissed. The pair went on to part ways when Robbie addressed that he wanted their partnership to end. "He melted and now there’s a different Guy. And maybe there’s a different me too… I think Guy thought, 'We are a band called Robbie Williams,' but I needed full control as much as possible," he explained. The pair later reunited and worked on albums including Swings Both Ways, Under the Radar volumes one to three and The Christmas Present. His feud with Gary Barlow "It seemed like there was one person being managed in Take That, and it was Gary Barlow," Robbie candidly revealed in the series. "It was all geared around him and, as young person, I would have been jealous of that. I suppose a lot of me resented him.” Robbie reacted to resurfaced footage which showed him making a joke that his former Take That band member "is dead". The first ep saw Robbie's daughter ask who he hated most in the band to which he confirmed it was Gary. "I’m sorry I treated Gary like that," he said. His relationship with Geri Halliwell Robbie dated Spice Girls' Geri Halliwell in the early 90s, while he was at Alcoholics Anonymous. At the time, Robbie believed that she was calling the paparazzi on the pair when they were out and about. However, he now takes that back. "Now I don't think that's true for one second, but at the time I did believe it," he said. "It just goes to show what being in the spotlight can do to you psychologically when you can't trust anybody." Why he left Take That... Robbie shared the real reason behind leaving Take That, after rumours it was due to addiction issues. Speaking to the cameras, he revealed: "The sense that I wasn't ready or capable to fulfil the role that was being asked of me was palpable. "One day I went in for rehearsals, and then at lunchtime, they said, 'Rob, we need to have a band meeting.' I said to the boys I just couldn't be there anymore. "Then they said, 'Look, we wanna see if we can do this tour as a four-piece. What do you think?' "And in the end, 'What do you think?' was me deciding to leave Take That." Opening up about his struggles... Robbie bravely opened up about his past struggles with drugs and alcohol, saying he "was ingesting everything [he] could get [his] hands on - ecstasy, cocaine, drinking." He went on to say that he drank "like a bottle of vodka" a night before going into rehearsals. "Everybody knew I was in trouble, but they didn't care, I'd gone past the point of no return," he said. "My life had spiralled out of control so severely that my manager understood what needed to happen, I needed to be carted off to rehab. He continued: "I used to drink and do drugs because it helped me not feel this way, when you strip that away all the everything comes up that you’ve been suppressing and I’ve been suppressing that for years. I’m depressed and I’m mentally ill." Robbie, who was diagnosed with depression in his early twenties, said: "People at this point still thought that if good things are happening to you and you're successful, what is there to be upset about? "I had to go on stage in front of thousands of people feeling like you’re on the hundredth floor, the room’s burning and you either stay in the room or burn to death or you jump out of the window to your death. It’s that uncomfortable." How to join the indy100's free WhatsApp channel Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy.
