BBC Breakfast star Emma Vardy has welcomed her first child with husband Aaron Adams. The co-host of the morning news programme announced her “best breaking news ever” on Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself cradling her newborn. Vardy first revealed her pregnancy in May, when she shared a photo of her baby bump after a day of surfing in Co Sligo. The BBC Ireland correspondent wrote on Instagram: “Presenting my best breaking news ever. Baby boy Jago Fionn is here. “At just a few hours old, playing a little camera shy. Huge thanks to the dedicated and talented midwives and doctors at Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital for looking after us so well.” She added that she and Adams were “smitten and so in love”. The photo was a selfie taken from her hospital bed as she cuddled the newborn baby, who has dark hair and was dressed in a white onesie. Announcing the news of her pregnancy in May, Vardy posted a photo of herself holding a surfboard as she showcased her bump. She wrote: “Well folks it’s definitely getting a bit harder to balance…. extra cargo hitching a ride!! Still managing to catch a few waves though. “Beautiful weekend in Co Sligo, and a very exciting summer ahead!!” She added: “#paddlingfortwo #babyonboard.” Last month, Vardy celebrated her baby shower and shared a series of photos from the joyous event. She wore a one-shouldered white gown and a beautiful pink and yellow flower crown as she posed in front of a large blue-and-white balloon display. Other photos included in the post showed her friends and family posing with her, all wearing green flower crowns, as well as photos of the decoration and tablescape for the event. “Belated Babyshower spam for the gram,” she wrote in the caption. Kendall Jenner's boyfriend, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny has set pulses racing when he shared a very uncensored selfie of himself on Instagram. The 29-year-old 'Tití Me Preguntó' star shared numerous images on his Instagram Stories on Sunday including one of himself in the shower wearing nothing at all. The uncaptioned and dimly lit photo left little to the imagination and much like his partner, seems to have avoided any consequences from Instagram's strict nudity rules. Quite how he managed to take a photo of himself in the shower or why he had his phone with him perhaps seems beyond the point at this stage but the eye-opening pictures have certainly caused a stir online amongst his fanbase. One person wrote: "just saw bad bunny's ig story and SIRR I WAS NOT READY." Another added: "Doing God’s work." A third said: "It’s Bunny Kardashian not Bad Bunny." This internet-breaking post comes off the back of Bunny appearing to officially confirm that he and Jenner are an item. While filming a squirrel, Bunny can be heard telling Jenner, who he has been dating for five months "“Mami be careful, the mosquitos.” Both Bad Bunny and Jenner have been spotted in public together several times which has prompted memes and accusations that the supermodel was editing out her boyfriend from her posts. Elon Musk is usually right at home among large crowds of video game aficionados – but now, even they are turning against him. The billionaire, who bought Twitter last year, gutted many of its core features and renamed it X, was booed and jeered at by a large gaming crowd at the recent Valorant Champions 2023 tournament in Los Angeles. In a clip shared on X/Twitter, Musk appeared on the big screen and was immediately met with a chorus of dissent. Some of the crowd could even be heard shouting: “Bring back Twitter.” “Where’s that coming from, that can’t be from in here, surely,” one of the stream’s commentators asked. “Is that a bigger reaction than [professional Valorant player] tenZ got?” Reacting to the clip on X, one person said: “Now he’s gonna ban all valorant content on twitter or lock it behind the sub.” The person was referring to the fact that Musk has frequently cracked down on the content of rivals, such as Substack, on Twitter/X. That is despite claiming he wanted to apply a police of “free speech absolutism” on his own app. During his tenure at Twitter, Musk has also suspended reporters and left-wing accounts that drew his ire, retaliated against media outlets perceived as too liberal and ordered engineers to boost his posts after a tweet from president Joe Biden about the Super Bowl did better than his own. It's not the first time he's been booed onstage in recent times either. Musk appeared to be mercilessly jeered by audience members after being brought on stage by Dave Chappelle on 12 December. Musk was introduced by the comedian during his show at San Francisco’s Chase Center. Chappelle joked: “It sounds like some of the people you fired are in the audience.” In a characteristically self-aware moment after the incident, Musk called his hecklers "unhinged". The Tesla founder's leadership of Twitter, then X, has also led to a reported drop in standards across the app, with many of the company’s content moderation staff sacked late last year as he slashed headcount. And late last year, research given to the New York Times suggested there has been a sharp a rise in hate speech on the platform as a result. No wonder the gamers were unhappy with Musk. “I’m sure he’ll change it back now,” said the original poster, Jake Lucky, seemingly sarcastically. At least he’s realistic about his chances.
