'What is the closest time to midnight?' Answer to viral question baffles internet
'What is the closest time to midnight?' Answer to viral question baffles internet
Everyone loves a new riddle or puzzle to figure out and now there is a new question that has left the internet baffled with varying answers to "What is the closest time to midnight?" In a question that perhaps takes many of us back to our school days, people can't agree on the correct answers from the four options given, These four options are: 11:55 am 12:06 am 11:50 am 12:03 amSign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletterThe most popular answer appears to be number four 12:03 am since this is just three minutes away from midnight, especially when you look at the different answer options. However, if we want to get technical, the wording of the question is all about “closest time to” not the “closest time until" so how time moves may not be a part of the answer. As a result, people have come up with other creative reasoning behind choosing another one of the options - with a few believing the answer could be which time is closest to the written word "midnight." (In that case, the answer would be number one since it is typed out closest to "midnight" on the paper). While some may have been caught out by choosing number one, as they wrongly believe 11:55 am is closest to midnight when actually this would have been true if it had been 11:55 pm - not am. Clearly, the debate has sparked serious reactions from people who are adamant about their answers. One person said: "The replies made me lose a bit more faith in humanity." "One of my favorite genre of Twitter post is 2nd grade worksheets," another person wrote. Someone else added: "You all need to go back to school if you say anything other than D." Celtic’s move for Yang Hyun-jun in balance but club still keen on Asia market
Celtic’s move for Yang Hyun-jun in balance but club still keen on Asia market
Celtic are continuing to pursue targets in Asia following the departure of Ange Postecoglou but a move for South Korean midfielder Yang Hyun-jun appears to be in the balance. Yang has been quoted in the South Korean media as saying that he wants to sign for Celtic this summer but his club, Gangwon, would rather wait until the end of their season, which finishes in October. Gangwon sit 11th in the 12-team K-League 1 and would face a relegation play-off if they remain there. The player’s representatives earlier claimed Yang had been promised he would get the chance to move if a European club came in for him and was frustrated at the club’s stance. Celtic have achieved success over the past two seasons by recruiting in Asia, with Kyogo Furuhashi named PFA Scotland and Scottish Football Writers’ player of the year last term. The striker was joined by several Japanese colleagues including Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Tomoki Iwata after Postecoglou arrived from Yokahama F Marinos two years ago. Celtic also signed South Korea striker Oh Hyeon-gyu in January. New manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to continue the successful recruitment tactic along with the club’s head of scouting and recruitment, Mark Lawwell. Quoted in several newspapers, Rodgers said: “Over the course of our discussions I’ve seen the market we’re in and how well the recruitment has gone. “Mark Lawwell has this pipeline of players that are available and I think what he’s done since he’s come in has been really impressive – and the markets he’s been able to tap into. That will continue. That’s where the club is at. “In terms of recruitment I am the one that knows how I want the team to play and I have to be involved in those discussions. And I will be. Some of those markets haven’t been as readily available to some clubs, that’s something Mark has brought with him in his roles. “I’m thinking of the Japanese market, the Korean market, Australia and out into Asia. These were players that were untapped and you’re now seeing other clubs trying to tap into that.” Read More Charity boss speaks out over ‘traumatic’ encounter with royal aide Ukraine war’s heaviest fight rages in east - follow live

Groom divides internet for wanting to make his ex-boyfriend best man at wedding
Groom divides internet for wanting to make his ex-boyfriend best man at wedding
A groom has divided the internet after posting about his experiences leading up to his wedding day, revealing that he told his wife he wanted his ex-boyfriend to be his best man. The anonymous man wrote on Reddit and explained the context behind a disagreement he’d caused with his wife-to-be. The 27-year-old said that he was bisexual and hadn’t told his partner that he used to be romantically involved with one of his close friends. He wrote that the paid had dated for "less than a month" before deciding they were better off as friends. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter The post read: "Near the end of the year I'm going to be marrying the love of my life, we have been together for four years now. Since I popped the question we've been busy planning, and one of the first things we decided was our wedding party. We both already knew exactly who we were going to ask and we had no issues with each other's choices, at least at the beginning. "My fiancée recently found out that I used to date my best man and is furious I never told her he was my ex and that I had not only invited him but also wanted him in the wedding party.” He added: "The thing is, I never purposely hid the fact we use to date from her, I just genuinely forgot. We have been friends for years and we got on so well we decided to give it a try and it just wasn't meant to be. we were 'together' for less than a month and it wasn't really that different from how we were being friends except we had sex sometimes. "I have to actively be reminded of it as it's not something I think about, when I look at him I don't see an ex I see my best friend of over 10 years. He was my friend for years before we dated and years after. I don't think it classes him as an ex and I don't think it should mean he's excluded from my wedding. But my fiancée is adamant that it's disrespectful to her and that it's her wedding so she should get a say. "I don't want to exclude him but if I knew she would react like this I might have just invited him as a guest." The post attracted some criticism, with some accusing him of keeping the truth from his partner. "Hiding some facts about your past romantic relationship is the same as lying. Why did you not tell her about him?" one wrote. However, another said that “it was an honest mistake”, adding: “I think you need to have a talk with her about why she feels disrespected without trying to discount her feelings.” Have your say in our news democracy.
