GORDON, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' recently dropped an explosive episode that proved Mama June Shannon has few people left on her side, especially after Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird told Justin Stroud that June lied to him.
The heated argument between June and Pumpkin took an even worse turn when Pumpkin slammed a chair to the floor. Meanwhile, June couldn't control her emotions and shed tears over the fact that her daughters wanted nothing to do with her. Pumpkin was still angry at June for giving up her rights to Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson in order to save money to support the children.
Pumpkin talks to Justin Stroud about Honey Boo Boo's custody battle
On the latest episode of the WeTV show, Pumpkin asked June if Justin knew that she had given up her rights to Alana just to save money. However, June said he knew everything, but she later found out that she had lied. Pumpkin went outside to talk to Justin, and he told her that he had no idea that June had given up custody just to save money. Pumpkin and Justin sat in the front seats of the car and discussed the things June had said moments earlier. Justin tried to patch up the mother-daughter relationship, but Pumpkin insisted on hearing her side of the story. Pumpkin told Justin, "At the lawyer's office as a parent, she looked at me and told me she would rather sign the rights and give me money." She added, "As a parent, it's very hard for me to look past that because it does hurt me." However, Justin also learned that June had lied to him about calling the girls. June had told him that she called her daughters and they just did not pick up. But Pumpkin showed Josh her call log and June's name was nowhere to be seen.

Despite all of June's drama and mistakes, the viewers think the reality star deserves a chance. A social media user commented, "They all ambushed June with a trip to Vegas, purportedly to have a fun girls' trip, but really a notary entered the hotel room asking June to sign over custody. Where does Mama June stand with her daughters now?
June and her daughters have been at odds for years. However, June now seems to be getting along better with all four children. In February 2023, Anna, Jessica, Pumpkin, and Honey Boo Boo reunited to attend June's second wedding to Justin. In addition, June was by Anna's side as she battled stage 4 cancer. June was also there to support Honey Boo Boo at her prom. Fans must have seen numerous photos and videos of her daughters in recent days.
