Muriel Henriquez opens up about her former boss Rex Heuermann's disturbing behavior

Speaking to CBS' Erin Moriarty, Henriques recalled her encounter with her former boss in an upcoming '48 Hours' special.

"Going out shooting, hunting, that was [Heuermann’s] passion," she said and further claimed that the Manhattan architect once demanded to know her whereabouts during her 40th birthday cruise.

"[I told him], 'I’m going to be in the middle of the ocean, and you’re not going to find me in the middle of the ocean.' And he said, 'Oh yes, I can,' " stated Henriquez.

"There was a white envelope under my door. … It was a note from [Heuermann]," she said of the second day of her trip.

"The note said, 'I told you I could find you anywhere,' ” Henriquez disclosed.

What are the charges against Rex Heuermann?

On July 14, Heuermann pleaded not guilty to the murders of Megan Waterman, Melissa Barthelemy, and Amber Lynn Costello who were strangled to death and their bodies were found along Ocean Parkway.

He is also considered a main suspect in the murder of another one of the first of "Gilgo Four" who is identified as Maureen Brainard-Barnes.

According to the suspect's initial arrest warrant, his wife Asa Ellerup who is originally from Iceland was reportedly away from their Massapequa Park home when the victims who were all sex workers were murdered.

The 59-year-old woman who was married to the alleged killer for over two decades filed for divorce following his arrest in July.

In a preview of the upcoming special, an expert tells Moriarty that the burlap sack used in wrapping the dead bodies of the victims was indicative of "a hunter."

According to The Independent, several things led to his arrest, which included "a stash of burner phones, ‘sadistic’ online searches, his wife’s hair – and a pizza crust."

"We’re prepared to go forward. We will defend this case in the court of law and we will go to trial in this case," Heuermann's attorneys reportedly stated as he is expected to appear for a pre-trial hearing in late September.
