LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna's friendship was severely impacted as both appeared in 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Season 9 and 10. Denise made it clear in Bethenny Frankel's podcast "Just B with Bethenny Frankel" that she would never be friends with her.
'Friends' star confessed, "Oh, I will never be friends with her (Lisa), ever." Denise seemed to be too adamant as she reflected on her estranged relationship with Lisa.
In Season 10, we saw Lisa confronting Denise about gaslighting her relationship with Brandi Glanville. Denise was shattered seeing how Lisa threw away their 2 decades-long friendship for the sake of a show.
Recalling the same, Denise said in the podcast that she believes she would have been friends with Lisa if they weren't on the show. Bethenny claimed, "It was like when she was on The Housewives, it was constant, she was addicted to something (the fame)."
To this, Denise affirmed, "She definitely was." Denise agreed that Lisa did not have fame in Hollywood entertainment before 'Real Housewives' and gaining the sudden fame made her become addicted to it and take every small talk personally.
Why did Denise Richards join 'RHOBH'?
When asked whether Denise joined 'RHOBH' because she was at a low in her career, the actress denied it.
She revealed, "Lisa Rina mentioned it to me a few years prior to me being on the show and I said there's is no way (she is doing the show)."
Later Denise thought of giving the show a try as she believed it could be "fun and something different."
She saw Lisa having a good time on the show and she thought that the same might happen to her.
Denise added, "I never thought of it as work, I thought of it as filming moments with friends."
But later she realized that filming 'RHOBH' was work and not having fun in front of the camera.
Denise Richards's 'RHOBH' comeback
Denise is returning to 'RHOBH' in Season 13. As of now, it is not unveiled in which episode will the actress make her return.
"Denise was great to come in because she's already familiar with the ladies, she understands the dynamics and has some crosses to bear," Garcelle Beauvais said to BET.
'RHOBH' Season 13 premiered on October 25, 2023. New episodes air every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on Bravo and 6 am ET the following day on Peacock.
