Candace Owens has candidly dished her opinion on the Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater dating rumours – and she did not hold back. The 'Thank You Next' singer recently parted ways with her husband Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage. Since news broke of their separation, rumours surfaced online about Grande dating her West End co-star Ethan Slater, who is also said to be going through a recent breakup. Lilly Jay, Slater's partner of 10 years and the mother of their one-year-old child, has since broken her silence in an interview with Page Six about the pair's alleged romance. "[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl," Jay told the outlet. "My family is just collateral damage." Now, on an episode of the Candace Owens Podcast, the conservative commentator and author blasted Grande for being a "fake feminist". Owens said the first time she heard the story about the pair dating, she responded that she "obviously has daddy issues." "It's abundantly clear Ariana Grande has daddy issues," she continued. "She likes to pursue men that are in stable relationships, she likes to rip those relationships apart and it feels to me that there's obviously something that is plaguing her from her childhood." Owens said she is not just attacking Grande – but also "dweeb" Slater. "This is the first time that a girl that he thinks is way above his weight class here, 'oh my god, Ariana Grande is looking at me' and he has completely lost his mind," she said, before calling him a "weak man." "He allowed one girl to take a glance at him and he ruined his entire life," Owens continued. Owens suggested that the pair would not last... "The high for [Grande] is breaking up the relationship. She's not going to stay with him because he's already committed to divorcing his wife, so the game is over for her," she added. The chairman of the House Oversight Committee didn’t bother spending a single minute listening to testimony from a former business partner of Hunter Biden who he’d hyped up as a star witness who could prove many of the salacious allegations he and his Republican colleagues have levelled at the 46th president. According to a transcript of the closed-door interview that committee members and staff conducted with Devon Archer, the convicted fraudster who once had a business relationship with President Biden’s youngest and only surviving son, Mr Comer was not among the Republican committee members who participated in the session. Only two Republican members, Ohio Representative Jim Jordan and Arizona Representative Andy Biggs, deigned to make themselves available for the interview with Archer, who will soon begin a year-and-a-day prison sentence stemming from a 2019 conviction for attempting to defraud a Native American tribe. Yet Mr Comer had no problem allowing himself to be portrayed as having led the session, which House Republicans had suggested would provide them with proof that President Joe Biden had engaged in the unlawful activities they claim he is guilty of despite lacking any proof for the allegations. On Monday, Mr Comer appeared on Newsmax to discuss the interview, and he did not make clear that he didn’t attend when pressed on what had happened by host Greg Kelly. When Kelly stated that Mr Comer had been “in the room” and asked if Democrats were “recognising that this is beyond their control now,” the Kentucky Republican replied: “The walls are closing in on the Bidens”. One teacher has opened up about a new and “annoying quirk” that has young people calling themselves “coin boys” and constantly flipping quarters. The anonymous teacher took to Reddit to complain about freshmen they teach participating in the “coin boys” trend. The hilarious post explained: “The newest thing here is a flock of self-proclaimed ‘coin boys’ who carry a quarter on hand at all times and constantly flip it. When we went around doing an ice-breaker, 4 or 5 of the kids said some variation of ‘I live by the coin and die by the coin’ as their fact.” In the post, the teacher said one of the “coin boys” said he was going to flip a coin that would decide if he was going to do the assigned piece of work or not. The teacher explained: “When I assigned the first assignment of the school year, one of the coin boys was bold enough to say ‘heads I do it, tails I don’t.’ “I told him if he flipped the coin he would be getting a call home on the first week of HS. He flipped it anyway and it came up heads (thank god for that at least). “But then the other coin boy in that class flipped his coin and it came up tails. He said the coin has spoken and he’s not doing it. I say very well, enjoy your 0 and your call home— what a great way to start off the school year and your high school career.” Their post proceeded to go viral across social media, with many finding the post absolutely hilarious and pledging to “stand with the coin boys”. The teacher said they had looked up the trend online but hadn’t seen anything else about it, theorising that it must be a local group of friends who made it up.
