CLEVELAND, OHIO: When Logan Paul defeated Rey Mysterio to win the United States Title at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, the pro wrestling community was taken aback. Since then, Paul hasn't done much with his championship on WWE television, but he's also not been difficult to locate.
Logan Paul attempted to pawn the WWE United States Title in a widely shared video after winning it. He also shared pictures of himself taking a shower and falling asleep with the gear. Logan Paul ultimately had to swear to Triple H that he wouldn't act ugly while wearing his title belt.
WWE's take on Logan Paul as US Champion
Inquiring about WWE's perception of the social media star becoming the United States Champion, Ringside News contacted them. This is, after all, the WWE's second part-time champion.
The Maverick is the only part-timer who managed to bag the crown apart from Roman Reigns, who became the WWE US Champion in 2016 and is a six-time WWE Universal Champion.
A tenured member of the WWE said about Logan Paul, "The internal feeling about Logan Paul is that he’s already generated great publicity for the US Title." The WWE is thrilled with Paul's success as the US Champion.
Logan Paul's trip to Australia for Elimination Chamber has already been revealed. The event is scheduled to be held in Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, on Saturday, February 24, 2024. When that day arrives, it will be fascinating to see if he is still the WWE United States Champion.
Logan Paul retires from boxing
After just two professional fights, Logan Paul declared his retirement from boxing in order to concentrate on his role as a WWE Superstar.
Following a stalemate in a white-collar contest the previous year, Paul lost to future Prime partner KSI in his first professional combat match in 2019.
Since then, the Maverick has made two return trips to the boxing ring. In 2021, he took on legendary fighter Floyd Mayweather, who is 50-0 and undefeated. No official winner was declared in the fight.
In October 2023, he defeated former Bellator fighter and internet adversary Dillon Danis in a six-round bout. This was his most recent battle.
