LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tiffany Haddish is talking openly about her breakup with Common in 2021. The comedian said that her split from Lonnie Rashid Lynn, better known by his stage name as Common, "wasn't mutual," according to The Washington Post.

On a 2021 December edition of 'Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee Uncensored,' Common announced the separation, claiming it was mutual. He proclaimed Haddish to be "one of the best people I've ever met in life." It was more him saying, "I think this relationship has run its course. And I was like, 'Okay. Like you gonna be a 50-year-old single man. Okay?"

Haddish stated that she is still looking for love

She said that things changed after Common failed to invite her to several occasions, including his birthday celebration. She said that he later ended their relationship over the phone. Haddish stated that she is still looking for love. She also disclosed in a piece in The Washington Post that she had experienced her ninth miscarriage. "I'm a pretty positive person, and I'm here to experience this," she declared. "Having a partner to go through it with would be wonderful," as reported by USA Today.

During an episode on the podcast 'Steve-O's Wild Ride!' in 2020, Haddish affirmed their connection. She began by stating, "I am in a relationship," and then she went on to identify her boyfriend, revealing that he was Common.

Haddish said that she first met Common while the two were coworkers filming the 2019 movie 'The Kitchen.' She said, "He was kind of like my love interest (in the movie) … and we kinda became friends, "Then I went into this period of dating … and at this point our friendship was getting a little bit more than friendship but not quite because COVID happened and we were like quarantined. So then we're like Face-timing all the time," as per reports.
