Who was Fridelene Daniel? Florida woman's chilling last words before she was shot dead by jealous ex-boyfriend revealed

BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: In a harrowing incident that unfolded at the Meadows on the Green apartment complex in Florida, 34-year-old Fridelene Daniel was allegedly gunned down by her ex-boyfriend, Robens Cesar.

This chilling act occurred shortly after Daniel had filed a police report against Cesar, accusing him of relentless harassment, Law&Crime reports.

Boynton Beach officers found Fridelene Daniel's body upon arrival

Boynton Beach police officers rushed to the scene after receiving distressing 911 calls around 9 a.m. Witnesses reported a black Honda fleeing the area, prompting a swift response.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Daniel's lifeless body, riddled with multiple gunshot wounds, and several spent shell casings scattered nearby.

Fridelene Daniel's murder linked to complaint she filed against Robens Cesar

Investigation revealed that Daniel's murder was seemingly linked to a complaint she had filed just 40 minutes prior at the Boynton Beach Police Department. In the complaint, she detailed how Cesar, 41, had been incessantly following and harassing her.

Surveillance footage and body camera recordings confirmed Cesar's presence at the scene, adorned in a blue-gray T-shirt and green shorts, with his dreadlocks pulled back in a ponytail.

Cesar, driving a 2008 black Honda, was identified through apartment complex surveillance. The footage captured him leaving the area at the time of the shooting, leading the police to his location about four miles away. Upon arrest, Cesar allegedly confessed to the crime during a police interview.

"Cesar stated he couldn’t stand to see Fridelene with another man," detectives revealed in the affidavit. "Cesar stated Fridelene reporting him to the police earlier in the day was the final straw, and he shot her."

Robens Cesar faces first-degree murder charge without possibility of bond

Daniel's family, connected with the tragedy through a phone call, recounted the horrifying moments leading up to her death. In an interview with local CBS affiliate WPEC, family members disclosed that Daniel, arriving at her apartment, uttered the chilling words, "Oh did you bring a gun to kill me?" while still on the phone with a relative in Haiti.

Witnesses in the complex described the ensuing chaos, with neighbor Dawn Rosado recalling, "It was like boom, boom, and then it was a brief maybe like two-second pause I want to say and three or four more. We just kind of froze there for a moment."

Cesar currently sits behind bars at the Palm Beach County Jail, facing a first-degree murder charge without the possibility of bond.
