LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paige Spiranac needs no introduction! She surprised her fans back in 2022 when she opened up about the breakdown of her marriage with Steven Tinoco for the very first time, confirming that she was no longer married. The duo got engaged in December 2016 when they went on a trip to Dubai. Subsequently, they tied the knot in 2018.
Tinoco not only approved of Spiranac's provocative online attire, but also pushed her to go further. "He is very understanding and is aware that I am doing this for business. He'll say, 'Hey, show a little more cleavage,'" Spiranac said in 2020, according to the New York Post. Despite his support for her career, their marriage ended.
'I will never get married ever again'
On her podcast, 'Playing a Round with Paige Renee', the golfer shares personal details about her life with her listeners. The golfer discussed how her failed marriage to Tinoco affected her mental health in one of the episodes of her podcast. After four years of marriage, the couple decided to separate in 2022. The golfer made her divorce from her husband public in March 2022. The 30-year-old golf influencer claimed that the "traumatic experience" of divorce had left her "so put off on the idea" of being married again.
“I wasn’t married for very long, and I think that when I initially got divorced, I said I will never get married ever again.” However, later in the episode, she changed her mind as she revealed that she learned from her mistakes and would like to get married again. She continued, "I’m recently divorced, and yeah, just kind of getting a fresh start, and I’m excited about it. I believe in love, and I don’t want to have one not great experience ruin a great experience moving forward. So, I’d be much smarter about it this time and not rush the process, but really enjoy everything there is to like planning the wedding.”
Why didn't Spiranac made her relationship public?
With her 2022 announcement of separation from Tinoco, her fans were shocked, since she never made her relationship public. In her podcast she said, "Having a public relationship is very difficult, and as soon as you make it public, you’re giving everyone the right to ask questions and you have to then answer them."
She added, "If I do post about it, and I end up breaking up with that person, I then have to talk about the break-up cause I owe that to everyone because I made my relationship public."
