TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: Ghislaine Maxwell, aka "prison Karen," has reportedly accused a female guard of sexual abuse after she confronted her over her shoddy personal hygiene. The 61-year-old disgraced socialite was apparently summoned by the officer when fellow inmates complained that she was not taking a shower after coming off the outdoor running track at Florida's FCI Tallahassee.
The officer then confronted Maxwell, where she used foul language and the phrase "hoo-ha," which is slang for female genitalia. "The officer never touched her. It was just a conversation about cleanliness and the need to shower more frequently. But the officer has a mouth like Cardi B and was completely tactless about it," an insider revealed to Daily Mail. They further noted that Maxwell only reported the incident "because she claims it left her feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed." "Max insists that it was a personal matter and the officer had no right to bring it up," the source noted.
'She acts and talks as if she's innocent'
"She might seem a little easily shocked for a convicted sex trafficker – but that's Max. She doesn't see herself that way, she acts and talks as if she's innocent," the insider said before explaining that it's common for sex offenders to avoid taking showers while they're incarcerated since the stalls are the most likely places to be ambushed with a handmade blade or a bar of soap wrapped in a sock. It's only one of a dozen or more complaints of misbehavior that Maxwell has made against employees at the low-security federal prison where she is serving a 20-year sentence for conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein.
She has previously accused employees of harassment, impoliteness, and discrimination in violation of the 14th Amendment and statutes protecting freedom of religion, according to record documents obtained by Daily Mail. She has also filed several complaints about the food, the lack of hot water, being refused the use of a computer, and having her mail tampered with. Maxwell's complaints are spread across nine pages of documents under "administrative remedies" that were received from the Federal Bureau of Prisons via the Freedom of Information Act. The convicted criminal has filed other complaints concerning "improper or insufficient" dental work and medical care for her rash and eye issues.
'Max has too many enemies'
The countless entries are probably only the tip of the iceberg because anything particularly heinous or unresolved would not be subject to publication, according to sources. The tipster claimed that Maxwell has not only made multiple complaints on her own behalf but has also used her position as a legal librarian in the prison to teach other convicts how to do the same. Her ultimate objective is allegedly to make enough of a fuss to get her sent to another facility, ideally FCI Danbury, the Connecticut prison. "Tallahassee is big, it's old, it's ghetto. Max has too many enemies and she wants out," the informer stated, adding, "Danbury is smaller and mainly for white-collar criminals and she thinks she can get there by causing as much hassle as possible."
It was reported in June that Maxwell has earned a "prison Karen" moniker as a result of the more than 400 minor grievances she had filed while incarcerated. In her complaints, she has criticized the meager vegan meal selections, begged that officials grant her access to hair dye, and even expressed irritation about a transgender prisoner who was supposedly having loud sex in the bunk above her. Maxwell also demanded plush hypoallergenic bedding after grumbling to staff that the standard-issue prison pillows were triggering her allergies. Her complaints began in July 2020, when she was detained at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York, pending federal prosecution for grooming children.
