MARYLAND, BALTIMORE: Virginia Pinto is no stranger to the spotlight, and her recent actions have kept her firmly in its glare. The story revolves around an affair that has captivated the public's attention. It involved a married Maryland police officer called Francesco Marlett and Pinto, who is a mother of two.

Pinto was filmed making out with the Maryland cop in the street before joining him in the back of his squad car. Pinto has boldly asserted that her relationship with Marlett “was not a one-night stand,” according to the New York Post.

Virginia Pinto's affair with Maryland cop Francesco Marlett

"That’s the main story — that this isn’t a little thing," Virginia Pinto said, before adding, “Of course, since he’s a police officer, it looks bad. But I just want people to understand that this was not a one-night stand.”

The pair had been seeing each other for about two years.

However, this sensational affair has not been without its fair share of drama. Francesco's wife Paula Marlett took to social media to vent her frustrations.

In a fiery Facebook post, Paula did not hold back, telling Pinto to "rot in hell b—h." The aftermath of this scandal led to Francesco's suspension from the Prince George’s County Police Department as an investigation was launched into his conduct.

Yet amid the chaos, Pinto seems remarkably composed and unfazed. As an Army veteran, she exudes a sense of resilience, stating, "What’s so exciting? He’s a cop. I’m a civilian. We got caught. It sucks, but this will pass."

“I’m living my life. I have children. I’m sure, as you guys know, I have a 15-year-old autistic boy. His father was Caucasian. I guess I have a thing for Caucasians. In my head, I’ve done nothing wrong. I’m going to continue living my life, doing what I’m doing. In my heart, in his heart, I know that I’ve done nothing. He knows. Paula knows. I’ve done nothing wrong. God is my higher power,” added Pinto.

The controversial 47-second video that surfaced showed Pinto and Officer Marlett passionately engaged in PDA next to his squad car, parked near a child-filled park next to the Oxon Hill High School.

The couple then disappeared into the backseat, staying there for a substantial period before leaving separately, according to the Baltimore Banner. A second video later emerged, suggesting that Pinto had entered a Prince George’s County Police cruiser on a separate occasion.

The Prince George’s County Police Department took these videos seriously and initiated an investigation into Marlett's actions. Chief Malik Aziz expressed his concern, saying, "I expect every officer to conduct themselves in a way that will not dishonor this agency or this county. I assure the residents of Prince George’s County I take this matter extremely seriously."
