Today's USMNT rumors include reports linking Haji Wright with Coventry City, Auston Trusty being set to join Sheffield United and Folarin Balogun could be on his way to Monaco.
USMNT rumors: Haji Wright to Coventry City
Haji Wright scored 15 goals in the Turkish Super Lig last season and this form could earn him a move to England. According to Yagız Sabuncuoglu, "Antalyaspor and Coventry City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Haji Wright for 9 million Euros testimonial + 2 million Euros bonus and 20% share from the subsequent sale."
Coventry may not be in the Premier League but they came agonisingly close to promotion from the Championship last season. The Sky Blues lost in the play-off final on penalties to Luton Town, who were promoted. However, with the addition of Wright, the club will be looking to go one better in the upcoming campaign.
USMNT rumors: Auston Trusty to Sheffield United
Auston Trusty had a very successful loan from Arsenal at Birmingham City last season. His performances did not go unnoticed and the defender looks set to join a team that was recently promoted to the Premier League.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that "Auston Trusty leaves Arsenal and he's joining Sheffield United on permanent move, deal agreed Arsenal will receive £5m fee" This is an excellent opportunity for the USMNT player to gain first-team experience in English soccer's top-flight.
USMNT rumors: Folarin Balogun to Monaco
Arsenal may have priced Folarin Balogun out of a move to Inter Milan. However, an opportunity to go back to Ligue 1 -where the striker was so successful for Stade de Reims last season- could be on the cards.
Darmesh Seth has revealed that Monaco is still interested and wants to do a deal for Balogun. A return to France might be a very good option for the American's development. He needs to leave the Gunners to make sure he gets regular game time.
