Today's USMNT news includes Timothy Weah officially joining Juventus, West Ham targeting Tyler Adams and Nottingham Forest looking to move on Ethan Horvath.
USMNT news: Timothy Weah joins Juventus
Timothy Weah has officially been announced as a Juventus player. The USMNT winger joins the club from Lille where he had a successful time, including winning Ligue 1 in 2021.
Juve has high expectations of Weah, writing on their official website, "Six consecutive years brimming with victories have transformed Timothy into a versatile player, capable of covering both defensively and in attack, making him an all-round wing-back.
"Now a new adventure is set to begin with the aim of enriching the Temple of Trophies at the Juventus Museum and his own private collection. Together!"
The Old Lady has seen Angel Di Maria and Juan Cuadrado leave the club this summer. Weah can operate both as a winger and as a right-back, so will be able to replace these big-name departures.
USMNT news: Tyler Adams to West Ham
West Ham United look set to lose Declan Rice to Arsenal soon. The loss of Rice will be enormous for the Hammers but a replacement could be found in Leeds United's Tyler Adams.
The Daily Mail has reported that David Moyes' side has made an approach for Adams. However, the newspaper also revealed that they are monitoring other options including Alex Scott, Denis Zakaria, James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez.
Adams needs to leave Leeds, otherwise, he will be playing in the Championship next season. West Ham was in a relegation battle in the last campaign, but they survived and won the Europa Conference League.
The Hammers will be in the Europa League next season, so they will need a big squad. When he played for Leeds, Adams proved he has the quality to thrive in the Premier League. He would be a great addition to the West Ham squad if he can stay clear of any long-term injuries.
USMNT news: Ethan Horvath moving on
Ethan Horvath had a successful loan at Luton Town from Nottingham Forest last season. The goalkeeper starred between the sticks for the Hatters as he helped them to promotion to the Premier League.
He has since returned to Forest who according to The Telegraph are looking to move the American on. This is despite Steve Cooper's side seeing Dean Henderson return to Manchester United and Keylor Navas go back to PSG.
A return to Luton would be great for Horvath as he is clearly not wanted at Forest anymore. The American deserves a crack at the Premier League with them after helping them get to English soccer's top flight.
