LORAIN, OHIO: An Ohio man arrested earlier this year on accusations of assaulting his wife, has now reportedly claimed the lives of the woman, his baby son, and his stepdaughter before committing suicide, police said as per multiple reports.
Police found Tyler A Young, 29, in a Lorain, Ohio, home on Sunday, November 19, alongside his wife Skyler Young, 24, their four-month-old son Bandin Young and Skyler’s daughter Angel Isaac, nine, FOX 8, News 5 Cleveland and Cleveland 19 reported.
Where did the authorities discover the bodies?
Police were responding to reports of loose dogs in the vicinity when they came upon an unlocked door of the second floor of the home where they discovered the bodies, according to FOX 8. A GoFundMe has been set up by Skyler's stepsisters to assist with funeral costs.
Skyler Young's friend said she was an artist who loved to write
Skyler's friend Amber Lillo told The Chronicle that Skyler was an artist who loved to write. "She drew so many pictures — she had a sketchbook the whole time she lived with me and that was how she would relieve her stress was writing or drawing," Lillo told the outlet.
Her daughter was described as an artist in an online obituary who loved the color pink and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. In a statement to FOX 8, Angel's school, Horizon Science Academy, said the girl was full of “warmth, kindness, and positive spirit.”
Tyler Young was booked in May on domestic violence charges
According to Lorain County jail records, Tyler was booked in May on strangulation and domestic violence charges and released on a $10,000 bond within two weeks. Lorain County court records show that days after he was arrested in May, a grand jury returned his case without an indictment.
Police say the grand jury issued this decision after Skyler withdrew some of her statements against him, according to News 5 Cleveland. Tyler was issued a temporary protection order at the time.
