Tristan Tate explains why Conor McGregor wouldn't 'rape' women: 'He’s now a rapist forever'

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Conor McGregor has been charged with sexual assault, and Andrew Tate's brother, Tristan Tate, stood in support of McGregor and through a Tweet explained why he wouldn't rape women.

McGregor was accused of raping a woman during the Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets NBA Finals Game 4 on June 9 at the Kaseya Centre in Florida. While the team has refuted the charges, an inquiry is still underway.

'Guilty until proven innocent'

While this isn't the first time McGregor has been accused of committing an assault, Tristan Tate recently tweeted about how the media has handled McGregor's case. Tate tweeted, implying that McGregor was slapped with rape allegations because he is "handsome and famous."

Tate wrote, "Guilty until proven innocent. He’s now a “rapist” forever to everybody who dislikes him. Who’s the girl? Name protected of course. Does anybody take into account that Conor wouldn’t have to rape a woman to have sex because he’s handsome and famous? No. He’s a rapist now."

Following Tate's remark, numerous users expressed their support for McGregor. A user wrote, "Some women would do just about anything to get some bucks or some attention not all, but some." Another user wrote stating that people just jump to conclusions, "No one cares about evidence anymore they just jump to conclusions."

'MPD’s Special Victims Unit is investigating'

According to demand letters filed to McGregor, the NBA, and the Miami Heat by the victim and her attorney, the incident occurred shortly after the Nuggets won. As per the allegations, security forced the victim into the men's restroom with McGregor.

McGregor allegedly tried to violently kiss her before forcing her to get physical. McGregor then forced her against the wall and ripped her trousers, attempting to sodomize her. The woman claimed she escaped by elbowing 'The Notorious' several times.

The Miami Police Department has published a statement clarifying that an investigation is ongoing in response to the event.

According to MMA journalist Aaron Bronsteter's tweet, A statement from @MiamiPD officer Michael Vega regarding the allegations made against Conor McGregor: "At this time all we can confirm is that MPD’s Special Victims Unit is investigating a report that was filed Sunday, June 11, 2023. This is an open investigation so no additional information can be released at this time."
