As the pop star has loved and lost, her strong fanbase, popularly known as 'Swifties,' has showered their love on Swift's current partners and unleashing their wrath on her exes.
While Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce, who is rumored to be Taylor Swift's present boyfriend, is currently at the centre of receiving mass adulation from the singer's fandom, here's a look at how Swifties responded to her previous lovers and eventual heartbreaks.
Joe Jonas: July 2008 - October 2008
Swift and Jonas were both teenage heartthrobs when the pair briefly dated between July and October 2008.
While fans of the respective music sensations were initially blown away by the romance, they were left extremely disappointed with the Jonas Brothers star when Swift revealed that he broke up with her over a 27-second phone call when she was just 18.
Back in 2008, Swifties dubbed Swift and Jonas as a "cute" pairing. However, several of the pop star's fans now refer to Jonas as "trash."
"Taylor and Joe are such a cute couple. At least i think so...," one fan wrote in 2008.
More than a decade later, a fan tweeted about the old romance last month, saying, "If Taylor Swift taught us anything is that Joe Jonas is trash."
Taylor Lautner: Fall 2009
Swift's fall romance with 'Twilight' alum Taylor Lautner was one of the singer's past relationship that did not end on a bad note.
Their chemistry was highly visible on several scenes of 'Valentine’s Day' and left fans impressed with 'Taylor squared' love story.
However, Swift called it quits with Lautner in 2009 before penning the classic 'Back To December,' one such rare song where the pop star is rather appreciative towards her ex and wishing she could change the course of their story.
"Are Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift dating? Apparently they have been spending alot of time together i LOVE them both though," a fan wrote in 2009 during the peak of the romance.
Fast forward to 2023, Swift and Lautner are not only on good terms as exes but great friends who are extremely supportive of each other.
While several Swifties still acknowledge their friendship, some have long forgotten the fall romance and even accuse Lautner of seeking "attention" from his ex's fanbase.
"Taylor Lautner is so Jobless that now only depends on calling the attention of the fandom of her Ex of 15 years ago," one Swiftie claimed earlier this month.
John Mayer: December 2009 - February 2010
While Swift and Mayer only dated for a few months, their break-up made headlines especially after the release of Swift's infamous break-up song, 'Dear John.'
Mayer was quick to hit back, calling it "cheap songwriting" during a Rolling Stone interview, before facing the wrath of Swifties for his reaction. While several of Swift's fans were skeptical of the romance during the very initial phase of the relationship, the majority now dub Mayer as Swift's "worst ex."
"Aww John Mayer & Taylor went out to dinner together last night how cute. Dear god please tell me they are just good friends that's not right," a fan wrote in 2010.
"Dear John: 'Well maybe it's me and my blind optimism to blame/ Maybe it's you and your sick need to give love then take it away' John Mayer is Taylor’s worst ex," another added a decade later in 2021.
"John mayer is taylor's worst ex," a Swiftie mentioned earlier this year.
Jake Gyllenhaal: October 2010 - January 2011
While Swift and Gyllenhaal only dated for a few months, their relationship graced the pages of multiple tabloids and garnered immense media attention.
Although Swift's 9-year age difference with Gyllenhaal was less than her 13-year age gap with Mayer, it was often cited as the one of the reasons behind their breakup.
Shortly after her heartbreak from the Mayer split, Swifties hailed their idol's romance with Gyllenhaal and dubbed them "adorable" despite their age difference.
One fan wrote at the time, "Sure, there's a big age difference between Taylor Swift & Jake Gyllenhaal.... But they're adorable together! haha :)"
While another gushed, "Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are rumored to be moving in together and thinking about marriage! How adorable!"
However, the pair had to called it quits just weeks before Swift turned 21. The break-up even inspired one of Swift's most-loved songs, 'All Too Well.'
Swift were quick to point out the immense pain the pop-star felt from the break-up and continues to call out Gyllenhaal for hurting Swift to the day.
"I know it’s December 9, 2019.... but Jake Gyllenhaal why did you hurt Taylor like that," one fan wrote in 2019.
The backlash on Gyllenhaal resurfaced after Swift released a 10-minute long 'All Too Well (Taylor's Version)' accompanied by a short film in 2021.
"Taylor Swift, a punch in my face would hurt less then this. Thank you for RED tv and thank you Jake Gyllenhaal for being a piece of trash," one Swiftie mentioned.
"Watching Jake Gyllenhaal on SNL. I just wanna throw a tomato at his face. YOU HURT TAYLOR," another chimed in.
Harry Styles: November 2012 - January 2013
Styles is certainly one of Swift's most popular exes. The Grammy-winners were both at the heights of their early stardom when they dated between November 2012 and Janaury 2013.
While their relationship consisted of pap walks, glitzy headlines and rumored tattoos, their break-up allegedly inspired some popular tracks like Swift's 'I Knew Your Were Trouble' and 'Style' as well as Styles' 'Two Ghosts' and 'Ever Since New York.'
Fans of the pair, once dubbed as 'Haylor,' also tagged along their journey, from calling them the "best couple" to referring to them as the "worst."
"Taylor and Harry best couple <3 :) x" a fan wrote in 2012. "People who thought harry styles and taylor swift would make a good couple were the worst," another opined in 2019.
"Harry loves Taylor and Taylor loves Harry, stop envy and leave them be happy," one said in 2013.
"Harry styles rly left Taylor on that boat I hope his lashings are coming soon," a Swiftie manifested in 2021.
Calvin Harris: February 2015 - May 2016
Harris and Swift's romance between February 2015 and May 2016 were one of the latter's longest public relationships at the time.
The couple were quick to unveil their love in front of the cameras, even sharing a kiss at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and celebrating their one-year anniversary with an adorable cake.
However, their split were just as messy, with Harris even hinting at accusing Swift of cheating on some of his songs.
During their relationship, Swifties dubbed Harris a "prince charming" and hailed the Scottish DJ while comparing him to Swift's actor ex, Gyllenhaal.
"Jake gyllenhaal: doesn't go to taylor's bday party calvin harris: shows up at her concert without notice like the prince charming he is," one wrote in 2015.
"Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris make me want to cry. They are so cute," another gushed.
However, after Swift and Harris' troubled split, several fans called out Harris and dubbed him a "loser."
"I had no idea he was such a loser. Although to be honest I still know nothing about him other than he’s a dj who dated Taylor," one fan tweeted.
"Calvin harris is foaming at the mouth now that he can finally say taylor wrote a song abt him even if it depicts him as the biggest loser on earth," another mocked.
Tom Hiddleston: May 2016 - September 2016
Swift also had a brief relationship with 'Loki' star Tom Hiddleston. Although the couple dated for around five months, the duo were spotted together at the 2016 Met Gala and photographed packing the PDA in Rhode Island.
Hiddleston even reportedly met Swift's parents and were even seen wearing an 'I HEART TS' tank top. Unfortunately, the pair went separate ways in September 2016.
While Swifties dubbed the pop star's romance with the Marvel actor "adorable," they were soon to call the relationship "fake" after their break-up.
"Honestly, Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are adorable," one fan gushed in 2016.
"Hey remember that time Tom Hiddleston and Taylor swift were in a fake relationship? Isn't that pathetic?" one wrote in 2021.
Joe Alwyn: May 2017 - April 2023
Swift's romance with Alwyn was perhaps her longest relationship and her most shocking break-up. The duo reportedly crossed paths at the 2017 Met Gala and embarked on a fairytale journey for six long years before parting ways in April.
Alwyn became Swift's muse for several romantic as well as heartbreak songs, from 'Dress,' 'King of My Heart,' 'Lover,' 'Paper Rings' and 'Lavender Haze,' to 'Labyrinth,' 'Sweet Nothing' and 'You're Losing Me.'
Following several short-lived romances, Swift and Alwyn's relationship were also similar to a fairytale for 'Swifties.'
During their relationship, several 'Swifties' called the pair as their "parents" and hailed Alwyn as a "king."
"Taylor swift and joe alwyn aka my parents," one said in 2020. "My parents taylor swift and joe alwyn," another wrote in 2022.
"i just want someone to look at me the way Joe Alwyn looks at Taylor Swift. thats all," one gushed that same year.

When news of Swift and Alwyn's split came to light, several Swifties walked back on their words on the latter and called him out on social media.
"Taylor not being used to princess treatment bc she was dating a mannerless pretentious loser for 6+ years........Joe Alwyn you will suffer till the end of time," one fan wrote.
"Taylor doing the loser sign at lover is concerning. JOE ALWYN YOU WILL PAY FOR IT," another cursed.
One Swiftie tweeted, "Joe alwyn can rot in hell fo all I care" while another stated, "JOE ALWYN ILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU."
Matty Healy: May 2023 - June 2023
One of Swift's most debated romances began after her split with Alwyn. The pop star sparked dating rumors with longtime friend Matty Healy in May before their alleged relationship fizzled out in June.
The short-lived speculated romance also left Swifties divided. While some called the pair cute, others slammed the relationship rumors while calling out Healy for his past controversies.
"Taylor swift and matty healy are cute. is he a lil problematic? yeah but everyone is sooooo," one fan wrote.

Travis Kelce: September 2023 - Present
Swift's ongoing romance rumors with Kelce and the immense hype surrounding their speculated relationship has continued to take the entertainment industry as well as Swifties by storm.
Amid public appearances and NFL hangouts, Swifties have welcomed Kelce as their newly crowned "king" and even called him her "hottest" and "best" boyfriend.
The pop star's strong fanbase has continued to shower their love on Kelce, praising him for his behavior towards Swift and even comparing the football tightend with Alwyn.
"Sweet gestures of Travis Kelce to Taylor Swift, King to her Queen! Can we always be this close forever and ever. Lover," a Swiftie said.
"Travis Kelce is literally the hottest guy Taylor Swift has dated. All Swifties are so freaking happy rn, they literally have the best couple connection in this century, wow," one fawned.
"Is it only me that notices the difference between Taylor Swift with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift with Joe Alwyn??? get you a Travis guys!!!" another pointed out.
