NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly recently admitted on her podcast that all the news coming from Israel has been "weighing on her heavily" and has led to a change in her personality in the last few days.
The former Fox News star was discussing all the terrible videos coming out of Israel when she revealed about choosing a "middle lane" to show "some of the videos and not at all" due to their extremely graphic content.
Kelly let her guard down on the podcast and told guest Glenn Beck, host of BlazeTV's 'The Glenn Beck Program', that she can only take so much in preparing for her show, given that the news of causalities from the Middle Eastern country continues to break her heart.
Megyn Kelly admits there has been a 'change in personality' owing to heartbreaking news coming from Israel
During the latest episode of her podcast, Megyn Kelly’s guest, Glenn Beck, revealed that he will show the horrific videos coming out of Israel on his program, stating that it is "incredibly important."
"It is like having Gas chambers in 1940 and not showing them. I think they need to be seen because this is the evidence that shows they said, look they will kill all Jews," said Beck.
He opined that "there is no way to defend killing women and children" and if that’s happening, it should be shown.
At this juncture, Kelly intervened and said, "It’s a tough call to show these videos," elaborating that while preparing for her show, she and her team have "carved a middle lane" to show some of them.
Speaking about the gruesome videos of executions, she stated, "There’s only so much my heart can take in even bringing the show. I don’t know about you Glen but this has been weighing on me so heavily. It’s really changing my personality these past few days."
Kelly continued, "I don’t mean to make the story about me but I’m just saying like all these thousands of miles away...like how are they functioning after the amount of terror being unleashed on these poor families even the ones who survived? How do you ever live normally again?"
Kelly concluded that she supports Beck’s decision to show the videos from Israel but asked her viewers to exercise caution while interacting with them.
