'The Five' hosts claim Foreign Relations Committee facilitates corruption in wake of Bob Menendez indictment

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The Democratic Party faces a major blow with Senator Bob Menendez's indictment over bribery charges, possibly revealing that the foreign relations chairman had aided the government of Egypt by taking the corruption route.

While discussing the accusations brought against the New Jersey senator, 'The Five' hosts made the suggestion that they might be somehow linked to the previous cases of corruption that have sprouted from the Foreign Relations Committee.

In particular, the hosts pointed out similarities in the cases of Menendez and Hunter Biden.

Jeanine Pirro points out parallels in bribery charges against Bob Menendez and Hunter Biden

Greg Gutfeld, who was leading the segment on the Bob Menendez situation, brought up the claim that the case of bribery might have to do with the fact that the Senate was associated with the Foreign Relations Committee.

"He was the chair of the Foreign Relations Committee," stated Gutfeld, adding, "Who was chair in the past? Joe Biden. It seems like this is how you get the bribes. As you get on the FRC, that puts you in contact with people who can give you money."

Jeanine Pirro argued that "this is a Democrat thing." She then went on to point out the similarities in the two bribery cases of Hunter Biden and Menendez.

"Just because Menendez got a Mercedes and Hunter Biden got a Porsche," continued the former judge, along with, "Just because Menendez has allegedly gotten cash and Hunter Biden got cash."

Pirro noted, "Just because when Menendez wanted to have a meeting at the VP Joe Biden's house at the Naval Observatory, he didn't go to the VP, he doesn't call anyone other than Hunter Biden to have lunch and a dinner at the VP's house."

Jesse Watters says Bob Menendez learned everything from Joe Biden

Jesse Watters added to the claims of Jeanine Pirro by saying, "Gold Bar Bob learned everything from the big guy."

He had a similar track of thought as Gutfeld in that he saw the power of the Foreign Relations Committee as access to easy bribes.

"In foreign relations, you have the power to kind of green light or red light foreign aid," said Watters, adding, "When there is a freeze on foreign aid to a country, you say 'You want me to unfreeze that? Pay me the cash'."

The 'Jesse Watters Primetime' host suggested that people on the committee also asked for bribes by taking credit for any free-flowing exchange between any two nations.

"He learned it under Joe and Joe did the same thing in Ukraine," claimed Watters.
