Sylvester Stallone reveals he was forced to film adult movies for survival before 'Rocky' series

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sylvester Stallone, an American actor, and director, is a celebrated icon who has delighted audiences for a long time. He is most known for playing his role in the Rocky film series, which brought him his most significant critical acclaim and financial success as an actor and screenwriter.

He continued to provide his enduring performances in a number of movies, including the Cobra and Rambo series, The 'Expendables' series, and many others. With his recently released Samaritan, the 76-year-old actor is approaching his fifth decade in the business; however, the widely acclaimed star was once an unknown individual who had to overcome many obstacles before being cast in the 'Rocky' series, including being forced to work in an adult film, as reported by AnimatedTimes.

About the film 'Expendables'

However, Barney Ross, played by Sylvester Stallone, is prepared to take charge of the Expendables once more after nearly nine years. After a nine-year break from the film series, the first official trailer for 'The Expendables' fourth installment has been published. The film, titled 'Expend4bles', will premiere on September 22.

In the forthcoming movie, Sylvester Stallone will be joined by franchise veterans Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture, who will all return to their iconic roles. Along with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, Eddie Hall, Iko Uwais, and Andy Garcia, new actors have joined the cast, as reported by Variety.

'I was also starving when I did it'

Talking about the struggle, 'The Party at Kitty and Stud's, a soft p**n movie directed by Morton Lewis, was the star's debut acting role. In an interview with Playboy, the actor said that he was in a difficult situation at the time and was even underpaid for the film. He said, "I was also starving when I did it. I'd been bounced out of my apartment and had spent four nights in a row at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, trying to avoid the cops, trying to get some sleep, and keeping my pens and books in a 25-cent locker," as per reports.

'It was either do that movie or rob'

He added, "It was either do that movie or rob, someone because I was at the end —the very end — of my rope," he added. "Instead of doing something desperate, I worked two days for $200 and got myself out of the bus station." Even though no one paid any attention to the movie at the time, it was renamed Italian Stallion and released several years later, as reported by AnimatedTimes.
