LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Kim Rhodes has made the sweetest revelation about her onscreen son Dylan Sprouse in the November 16 episode of the 'Back to the Best' podcast.
The 54-year-old actress recalled an incident during the filming of 'The Suite Life' when Dylan refrained from making a fat joke at her expense.
Rhodes played the mom, Carey Martin, of the twins Zack and Cody, portrayed by Dylan and Cole Sprouse.
The actress said it was one of her "favorite memories" from her years on the hit Disney Channel show.

Despite being the youngest characters, still teenagers on the set, Dylan and Cole were responsible and respectable towards their co-stars.
"I got pregnant when I was on the show, and of course the show dealt with it by making fat jokes," Rhodes remembered. “And one of my favorite memories is Dylan had a line that was a fat joke and he just kept skipping over it. It was, like, in the middle of a chunk of dialogue, so he kept skipping this laugh line," she recounted the heartwarming moment.
She told in the podcast that Dylan skipped the line again when they filmed the scene in front of the studio audience, receiving a yell from the producer. “He goes ‘Cut! Dylan! Say the line!’ and [Dylan] goes, ‘I would not disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman. You write something funny and I’ll say it,’” she said. “That’s my little man.”
Rhodes praised the twins, saying they “defended me all the way through.”
According to her, Dylan and Cole were "protective" of the whole cast. "They understood that – like, early on, Phil [Lewis] was like, ‘Look, you are the only two people on this set that are not expendable, so you take the bullet, every time.’ And they took that so seriously,” she said.
“And so the fact that they, at such a young age, understood that it was their job to make sure everybody else was able to do their job was really impressive.”
Rhodes is not in touch with her onscreen sons; however, she shared the hilarious fans' reminder about Zack and Cody's Italian restaurant reservation they made 15 years ago which was on November 16, 2023.
She posted on her Instagram, writing, "Congratulations, boys. You're still making me proud. Enjoy your dinner."
'The Suite Life' fans hail Dylan Sprouse
Fans are happy with the maturity Dylan showed at such a young age. Many applauded the actor for being considerate and respectful to his co-star despite the producer's yelling.
