ATLANTA, GEORGIA: In a new episode of 'RHOA', some original cast members reunited, including Shereé Whitfield, Lisa Wu, DeShawn Snow, and Kim Zolciak, with NeNe Leakes noticeably absent. The OGs had a heartfelt conversation, putting their past conflicts aside and discussing the changes in their lives since they were last on the show. Lisa and DeShawn had gone through divorces, while Kim was still with her husband Kroy during filming, though their relationship had faced financial challenges and allegations of gambling addiction and marijuana abuse.

However, fans were particularly taken aback by Kenya Moore's behavior when she arrived an hour late to Sanya Richards' charity fundraiser for single mothers, where she was assigned the role of the auctioneer. Kenya's late arrival was criticized for being unprofessional, among other things, but despite her tardiness, she was able to help Sanya exceed her fundraising goal of $50,000.

'Better late than ugly'

Kenya showed up an hour late to Sanya's fundraiser brunch, confidently claiming that she was fashionably late and declaring, "Better late than ugly." She made a grand entrance in a large red dress adorned with ruffles, along with slippers and black leather gloves. Kenya surprised everyone by announcing that their goal for the day was not just to raise $50K but $100K, expressing her confidence that the table where the 'RHOA' ladies were seated alone could achieve that amount. The MommiNation brunch aimed to honor mothers and present "Mommi Awards," while also raising funds for The Boyce L Ansley School, which provides free education to homeless children. Sanya organized an auction during the brunch to gather resources for supporting the mothers of the school's attendees. However, when Sanya's auctioneer couldn't make it, Kenya stepped in to help, despite not being officially booked through her agent for the second time. Kenya's late arrival in a Disney villain-inspired outfit didn't dampen her enthusiasm as she successfully energized the crowd and exceeded Sanya's goal by more than $25,000.

'To show up an hour late to me is disrespectful'

Kenya faced criticism from fans for her late arrival at Sanya's fundraiser, with one Twitter user expressing, "Omg Kenya stfu about your seat! You know she'll be late just to be a B!" Another fan commented, "Kenya being late, what a bitch." Some fans also highlighted the irony, stating, "It's weird that Sanya is mocking Kenya & Kandi for not showing up for her (every time and on time) yet was just crying and complaining about juggling a lot. Everyone is trying to achieve something on this show, so why is there such a lack of empathy?" Another fan added, "Kenya can be so inconsiderate. If it's not HER event, she drags her feet & complains about the event."

One Reddit user expressed mixed feelings, saying, "I love Kenya, and I get that she was asked last minute, but she pushes it too far sometimes. 1h30 late? She's already stunning; she doesn't need all that." Another said, "I understand Kandi not being able to make everything because she is legitimately on tour and at award shows but Kenya not so much."
