The Boston Celtics are attempting to do something that has never been done before in the history of the NBA on Monday night.
With a win over the Miami Heat, the Celtics would erase a 3-0 series deficit, something that no NBA team has ever done. Teams are currently 0-150 when facing a 3-0 series deficit. Only four teams (including this season's Boston team) have even forced a Game 7 after falling down 3-0.
Oddsmakers seem to think that Boston is going to win this series and complete the comeback, opening the Celtics as eight-point favorites. However, that odds have moved a bit, with Boston favored by seven or 7.5 depending on the sportsbook.
Why? Well, the public is all over the Miami Heat to not only cover, but to win this game as well.

While it's a tall task for Boston to complete, the team is at home for Game 7 on Monday night.
This is the fourth time the Celtics are playing in a Game 7 over the last two seasons, and Boston has two blowout wins at TD Garden in those games, going 3-0 in the first three matchups.
It seems like public bettors are wagering on the notion that no team has done what Boston is attempting to do, but this is the perfect storm for the Celtics, in my opinion.
Boston entered this series as a -550 favorite, and the Heat are a No. 8 seed, pulling off plenty of upsets to get here. The betting market has not changed in terms of thinking Boston is the better team, favoring the C's in every game of this series except for Game 4.
