'Prison Karen' Ghislaine Maxwell slammed for over 400 complaints about everything from bedding to hair dye

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: Ghislaine Maxwell has been criticized for being a “Karen” inside a prison cell after being awarded 20 years for being an accomplice in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes. The convicted criminal reportedly has made hundreds of complaints over time regarding the "unfair treatment" at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee, Florida.

Sources told the Daily Mail, “Max is the prison Karen. She can file a grievance over anything – she has over 400 of them. She complains about the food, and the bedding when they cancel the temple because of bad weather or are late setting up her legal calls.”

“The latest battle is over hair dye. Maxwell hates her gray showing through and she's filed a grievance because they don't sell it anymore. When she did her video interview with British TV she paid another inmate $200 for the dye,” they stated.

‘Every aspect of prison life offers an opportunity for her to play the victim’

Maxwell was sentenced in June 2022 and was to be held in FCI Danbury, a Connecticut prison. However, the federal Bureau of Prisons sent her to the Tallahassee prison. Sources reportedly shared, “When Max got to Tallahassee, she immediately wrote Brooklyn up for taking too long to ship her belongings. Then when her shoes arrived, she refused to hand her temporary slip-on back to the laundry lady.”

They continued, “That caused a big argument and Max complained that she felt threatened and refused to go back to the laundry unaccompanied. That's her in a nutshell. Every aspect of prison life offers an opportunity for her to play the victim. She creates constant drama for staff and inmates alike.”

‘She acts like she's a genuine attorney’

An insider revealed the possible reason behind the 61-year-old’s constant complaints. They said, “Tallahassee is big, it's old, it's ghetto. Max has too many enemies and she wants out. Danbury is smaller and mainly for white-collar criminals and she thinks she can get there by causing as much hassle as possible.”

“Max even uses her position in the law library to coach other girls into making similar complaints. She acts like she's a genuine attorney and fills the forms in for some of them. Of course, she doesn't care at all about the blowback the complaints will cause them. The end goal is mass lawsuits,” they added.

‘She needs to grin and bear it’

Maxwell has attracted a lot of hate online for her “diva” behavior as a user tweeted, “She needs to grin and bear it, after what she did.” Another user wrote, “That must be the ultimate fall from grace for her from private island & Jets to a 8x10.”

“Guess she doesn’t understand what prison is,” a third remarked. A fourth user commented, “Poor dear. Thoughts and prayers, for a long incarceration.” “No hair dye! That's cruel harsh punishment right there. I feel her pain,” a fifth added.
