LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Carey Mulligan has finally revealed the gender of her third baby. The ‘She Said’ star who confirmed that she’s now a mother of three children told Entertainment Tonight that it was a girl.

The 38-year-old appeared at the 2023 Variety Power of Women Los Angeles gala. "Oh, she's great. Great. Good baby, 10 out of 10, so far," Mulligan said with a thumbs up and smile, adding "We'll see how long that lasts."

Earlier, Emily Blunt was left in awe after she saw Carey’s youngest as they flew together.

"We were on the same flight over, and I got to snuggle her delicious baby, who I got to just sort of bite her cheeks," Blunt told glee, adding "She is so beautiful."

When Mulligan was asked about their meeting on air, the ‘Never Let Me Go’ star said, "She stole my baby for a good 20 minutes, and I was very happy with that."

Mulligan and Mumford already share daughter Evelyn Grace, eight, and a son Wilfred, five.

Among the guests of honor at Thursday’s event, the new mother talked about her recent conversation with Everlyn.

"I think there's something really exciting in that children, at the moment are more aware," Mulligan said, adding "I think she's encouraged to have a real voice and be part of the conversation."

Mulligan was honored for her involvement with the organization War Child UK. "I can't quite believe it. It's an amazing group of women. And the organizations that they represent are so diverse and so interesting and so necessary, so it's amazing. And it's an amazing platform,” she added.

She earlier told Vogue, while carrying the infant, Mulligan, "I'm going to change you, and then we're going to find Mum another shirt."

Talking about her movie ‘Maestro', the star reflected, “This was the most intense preparation I’ve ever done for a film.”

“I guess Bradley’s been doing this kind of thing forever, using your dreams to connect your subconscious to the character’s, but it was new to me,” she recalled, shaking her head, adding “But I had to go all in,” Mulligan added.

Meanwhile, Cooper admired Carey's acting prowess. “I knew her ability.. All I asked of her was to please do the prep with me; I said, ‘Will you go down this road where we’re basically going to bare our souls to each other?’ And she was like, ‘Okay, let’s do it, I’m game,'" she said.
