Ninja officially goes 'Live on Kick' after criticizing Twitch's policy change

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Tyler aka Ninja who seemed to have quit Twitch is undoubtedly the platform's biggest loss. This comes after the streaming platform introduced new regulations. Ninja officially went live on Kick after criticizing the purple platform for policy change.

Amazon's platform had been under fire recently after the adoption of new multi-streaming and promoted content guidelines. Content creators claim that the new guidelines will limit their capacity to grow and commercialize their content. Twitch reversed some of its branded sponsorship policies as a result of the reaction.

Ninja switches to Kick

Ninja has started streaming on Kick, which is a first for the internet sensation. In his first stream, he tried out 'Fortnite's Chapter 4 Season 3, which includes rideable raptors and Optimus Prime. Ninja announced the live stream on Twitter, writing, "Live on Kick and Youtube today." He also included a link to his Kick page.

Ninja streamed on Twitch a few hours before his Kick and YouTube streams began, but just for around an hour. He ended the stream by encouraging his followers to follow him over to YouTube, saying, “Alright f**k it we’re getting off Twitch and going to YouTube man." He further added, "I’m getting off early. You know where else we’re going today, dude? That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever we’re going to say YOLO swag f**k it and test out Kick."

'Welcome to Kick, Ninja'

After Ninja announced his livestream, the official Kick account on Twitter took the opportunity and commented, "Big moves."

Many fans reacted to the news as one wrote, expressing his happiness, "Oh wow ninja moved to kick awesome. Welcome to kick ninja." A second user added his views, criticizing Twitch's new policy and welcoming Ninja on Kick, "Welcome to Kick! It's such a shame that @Twitch has such bad policies and now they miss out while other platforms win!" While another user expressed surprise that Twitch allowed Ninja to quit the platform, writing, "Did Twitch really let you leave? Amazing."
