Why was Sergio arrested again?

Upon witnessing Marta sneaking into Sergio’s house, Eneko lashes out at Sergio and thrashes him with the help of his friends. However, to protect Marta from ‘The Balcony Killer’, Eneko gets furious and files a complaint against Sergio. He gets arrested while running errands in a grocery store by Cabrera and other police officers, followed by media reporters and the public berating him.

Sergio's encounter at the detention

When Sergio’s other secret admirer, a man, comes to meet him in his room at the detention center, he fumes for not contacting him after he was released from prison. Sergio knows he can manipulate the man, so he asks him for his cell phone to call Marta. However, he refuses him, which provokes Sergio to blackmail him, and he starts bashing his head into a window. The man knew about Sergio’s madness, so he gave his phone to help him. When Sergio calls Marta, she doesn’t pick up, leaving him frustrated. While returning the cell phone, the man tries to be friends with Sergio but he snaps at him, bashing his head onto the wall and starts beating him. He is instantly stopped by the guards, who pin him down on the ground as he encounters a manic episode. With luck in his favor, Ana appears to be on the scene and helps Sergio to calm down by holding him tightly and whispering in his ear. Well, at least she was able to handle him without medication.

Sergio is not a psychopath

When Marta helps Ana copy Noa’s cell phone for videotapes, a pivotal video for the investigation reveals Sergio’s truth. Obsessed with discovering the truth, Ana discovers from a video that Sergio was on pills. It unveils a disturbing fact about Sergio’s mother, who was experimenting on him because she always saw him as a ‘special child’. However, his anger got the best of him. His mother ruthlessly tested him as her subject, basically turning him into a violent young monster.

Alas, it is clear now that Sergio wasn’t always like this; he was never a psychopath. But the mysterious truth about his parent’s murder is yet to be revealed. Let’s hook onto the episodes and see how ‘silence’ bespoke unsettling truths.
