Nate Diaz blasts Jake Paul over knockdown brag, questions YouTuber's actions in real fight

CLEVELAND, OHIO: Nate Diaz and Jake Paul are arguing about the Problem Child's incessant bragging about knockdowns. Diaz, has openly questioned on Twitter what Paul would have done following a knockdown in a real bout, mocking the significance of the knockdown itself.

On August 5, Nate Diaz and Jake Paul engaged in a highly anticipated boxing contest. At the conclusion of their fight, Paul, nicknamed the Problem Child, had dominated during most rounds and even managed to knock down his opponent, almost sending him through the ropes.

Nate Diaz responds to Jake Paul's bragging

Jake Paul keeps boasting about his boxing knockdowns on YouTube, but Nate Diaz gave a him a harsh reality check in his most-recent tweet. He wrote, "What would u have done in a real fight? Jumped on me and get fucked up bitch. You don’t know wassup n [sic] a real warzone."

In light of this, it might be concluded that a real fight would have taken place in a street brawl or MMA match with more flexible rules.

Paul, in Diaz's opinion, would have followed him to the ground after the knockout, placing himself in danger of getting strangled out, because of the strength of Diaz's Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Paul has now challenged Diaz to an MMA battle too, which Nate Diaz has claimed he will only accept if it is held under his organization, Real Fight Inc., as opposed to the PFL, with whom Jake Paul is associated with.

As a result, the two men are at odds with one another.

On Thursday, September 7, Diaz brazenly boasted about the choke hold he had used in the tenth round of their boxing match while insulting Paul and the PFL on Twitter.

He said Paul was a simple opponent and said he was open to a rematch in either boxing or mixed martial arts.

Will Nate Diaz fight Jake Paul again?

Since leaving the UFC, Nate Diaz has not signed with any particular promotional venture.

The number of opponents is therefore limited, but he has voiced a desire to return to the organization that launched his career so that he might potentially settle his score with Conor McGregor in a trilogy fight.

The Irishman has toyed with the concept himself. But aside from that, not much else has happened in real terms of setting up such a bout.

Although there have been rumors that he may face Jake Paul again in MMA, nothing has been confirmed on this front either. The Problem Child or Conor McGregor, though, is currently his most likely opponent for his next bout.
