A look at MrBeast’s Creator League members and schedule

Numerous well-known streamers and content creators are embarking on exciting new ventures, with MrBeast at the helm of a recently launched competitive gaming league called the 'Creator League.'

This league boasts a star-studded lineup of eight talented members such as Vinnie Hacker, OpTicGaming, Clix, Bella Porarch, OTK, CDawgVa, IShowSpeed, and Sapnap.

The highly anticipated Creator League is scheduled to make its debut on September 8. The inaugural season of this league spans an impressive 10 months, during which streamers will engage in a diverse range of competitions.

The first season is divided into four distinct splits, with the first split running from September 8 to October 5, the second split from October 20 to November 24, the third split from January 12 to February 8, and the final split from February 23 to March 21.

Each of these content creators will take charge of a team in the Creator League, commencing with a Fortnite custom map tournament.

The tournament offers an open qualifier, boasting a substantial $50,000 prize pool and the highest-performing players will earn coveted spots on their preferred creator's team.

Following the conclusion of the open qualifier, a launch show will be held, during which the creators will select their teams.

Subsequently, the league will officially kick-off, with the first split's final scheduled for early October, featuring a significant $200,000 prize pool.

Additionally, fans have the opportunity to acquire a $20 digital pass, enabling them to become part of one of the well-known content creators' teams and vie for a share of the $200K prize pool.

CDawgVA withdraws from Creator League

In the midst of the exciting buzz surrounding the Creator League, initiated by YouTube sensation MrBeast, CDawgVA voiced his concerns regarding NFTs and blockchain technology.

For the unversed, CDawgVA is a prominent figure on the Twitch platform, gaining recognition for his Just Chatting sessions and diverse gaming content. Having joined the Amazon-owned platform in 2013, his channel has now amassed a substantial following of over 1.1 million dedicated followers.

CDawgVA turned to Twitter to express his apprehensions regarding the Creator League.

"So I'll just be real with you guys, I accepted to join the Creator League not fully understanding the tech behind it. Needless to say, with the current information available I'm planning on withdrawing. I was not told or made aware at any point that there was Blockchain technology and was only made aware of that information when the event went live." CDawgVA wrote on Twitter.

"I was given assurances that it had nothing to do with NFT's. Given my vocal hatred of such tech, I would never agree to join had I known that. It's an embarrassing f**k up on my part to agree to promote this to my audience. I'm sorry. Will talk about it more when I can," CDawgVA concluded his thoughts by extending an apology to his fan community for accepting the offer.

Fans react to CDawVA's withdrawing from MrBeast's venture

Fans flocked to CDawVA's comment section to share their opinions over his decision as one said, "Bro is scared or *checks note* lines of code on the internet." Another fan wrote, "Be curious and keep learning."

The third fan wrote, "You’ll look back at withdrawing as a mistake in the future my friend." While one more person added, "Oh no, not a transparent permission-less global distributed ledger!"
