NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Michael Strahan warned his co-star Robin Roberts to “watch herself” after she took a playful jibe at him on his 52nd birthday.

The former NFL star turned 52 on November 21 and his co-stars didn’t hesitate to remind him that age is now catching up to him.

On Tuesday, November 21 on the morning show, after wishing Strahan a happy birthday, Roberts reminded Strahan that he’s “aging."

The episode opened with part of Anita Ward's hit song 'Ring My Bell' playing in the background.

"That's a jam right there," Strahan said as the episode got underway.

"Good morning, America! Taking it back to the '70s, '80s?" he asked host Roberts, who sat in the center of the news desk to his left.

"You're aging yourself," Roberts replied with a mischievous grin. Strahan wore a huge grin after Roberts's swipe. "Hey hey, watch yourself, now!" he replied.

"OK," Roberts said before the anchors enjoyed a hearty laugh and got back to the topic.

Strahan recently turned 52. He was born in 1972, while Anita Ward's song came out in 1979, meaning he would have been about seven years old when it was released.

Co-host George Stephanopoulos continued to the next segment after the pair joked with one another.
