Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing young Irish talent Sam Curtis, sources have confirmed to 90min.

Curtis burst onto the scene in 2021, making his senior debut for League of Ireland outfit St. Patrick's Athletic aged just 15. After signing his maiden professional contract at the club in 2022, the right-back has gone on to become a key player for St. Pat's throughout the last two seasons.

Despite being just 17 years of age, Curtis made 39 appearances for the Dublin club during the 2023 campaign, and played a pivotal role in St. Pat's finishing third in the league and winning the FAI Cup in early November - starting the final victory over Bohemians in front of an Irish cup record crowd of 43,881 at the Aviva Stadium.

The youngster is also a regular for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 side, making seven appearances since breaking into the setup this year.

Curtis' performances for his club team were duly rewarded with a nod in the PFAI Team of the Year and a nomination for Young Player of the Year, and sources have confirmed to 90min that they have also caught the attention of a number of top Premier League clubs.

90min understands that Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and treble winners Manchester City are all keen to sign the teenager during the upcoming January transfer window. Liverpool have had recent success in dipping into the League of Ireland market, signing talented youngster Trent Kone-Doherty from Derry City last summer.

Along with those Premier League clubs, Championship outfits Hull City, Middlesbrough and Leeds United all retain an interest in the full-back's services too, while Scottish champions Celtic have also scouted the player recently.

Sources have confirmed to 90min that St Patrick's Athletic fully expect Curtis to leave the club during the League of Ireland off-season - which runs until mid-February.
