Madonna told to 'take a break' as celebrity fitness trainer urges singer to realize 'she's getting old'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Madonna who is currently on her road to recovery after she was hospitalized with a "serious bacterial infection" is now being told by a celebrity trainer to take a break. The 64-year-old was discharged from the intensive care unit on June 29, four days after she was admitted to a New York hospital.

Sources close to the Queen of Pop said she tried to push herself "beyond the limit" before her health issue worsened as she was rehearsing for her now-postponed 'Celebration Tour.' The veteran fitness guru Ramona Braganza who has trained celebrities, including Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Alba has now issued a warning to Madonna to realize she is "getting old" and to halt plastic surgery, according to The Sun.

Braganza urges Madonna to understand 'nothing is going to stop or reverse' age

Speaking of the singer's condition, Braganza said, "Madonna will need to be given the exact science behind the prognosis. Only then can she process the information and respond to it. Madonna is somebody who seems very much in control of her own destiny and life. Most of the people around a celebrity of that profile, magnitude, and stature are afraid to say things that they really feel."

"So the health of that person can become jeopardized because no one is telling them they need to take a big break. She has to respect what is going on and take the advice of professionals," she continued.

Braganza shared that there are trainers who will hide from her the truth that she is not fit to hit the roads for her shows. "Professionals will not sugar coat it, but there are other people after that who will dilute the truth by saying other things. Then the celebrity will get very confused and she might say she can go back on tour," said the trainer. "Madonna may also need to accept that she is getting old and that nothing is going to stop or reverse that," she added.

Madonna 'ignored' symptoms of her 'serious bacterial infection'

Braganza's warnings were issued after the 'Borderline' singer's longtime friend Rosie O'Donnell shared that the songwriter was "good." The 61-year-old actress who has been friends with Madonna since their 1992 film 'A League of Their Own' gave Madonna's health update on Tuesday, July 4.

"She is recovering at home – she is very strong in general," the 'SMILF' actress wrote while responding to one of many fans who kept asking her questions about the 'Frozen' singer's health condition. Following reports of Madonna ignoring symptoms of her "serious bacterial infection," O'Donnell wrote on her social media, "She’s feeling good #madonna #love."
