LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kevin Hunter Jr, son of Wendy Williams has opened up about his mother’s health and revealed his thoughts. Talking about the star’s struggle with severe alcoholism, Kevin threw some light in his first-ever interview, revealing that things went from bad to worse after being placed under guardianship. He accused the team of milking her situation, while Wendy’s health is being sidelined.
"I know there are all sorts of things happening that I know in her right mind she would never agree to,” he said before adding, "As hard as it is seeing her being taken advantage of, I know that if I'm making sure she, as a person, is okay, that is the important thing. Because eventually, she's going to realize the craziness that's been going on." The Sun confirmed that Wendy was hospitalized last month in New York, and now the news is being confirmed by Hunter Jr. Apparently, last month he got to know about her mother’s health and the news about her hospitalization, through her manager Will Selby, aka ’the jeweler’.
'Do you see the condition she's in?'
Recently, Wendy’s brother also slammed the showbiz people for ignoring her health and continuing to work on the reality show. "This is not a woman who is in the right frame of mind to get a show going," said Tommy Williams. "Why are you even here? Do you see the condition she's in? Does it look like she's ready to start a podcast for goodness sake? It doesn't."
'This guy Will is ponying Wendy around'
The brother was really upset at the management team, and said, "And we are all going to bear witness to this. This guy Will is ponying Wendy around- 'travel here, travel there, let's go make this money, and I don't care if you're making sense because everybody knows who you are.' "And the shock value is going to be where she was and where she is now?" Tommy gestured, "Is that going to be the show? Is that it? Is that what my dad has to look forward to watching? To shove our face in the f***ing manure?"
On May 20, Wendy was scheduled to speak at the Atlanta Women's Expo but canceled due to health concerns a few days before the event. Kevin suggests mother's health declined between late 2021 and the spring of 2022.
