Liverpool duo Dominik Szoboszlai and Andy Robertson have opened up on how manager Jurgen Klopp inspired their 3-1 comeback win at Wolves on Saturday.
The Reds were poor in the first half at Molineux and went into the break a goal down after Hwang Hee-chan opened the scoring for the hosts.
For the second half, Liverpool replaced Alexis Mac Allister with Luis Diaz and switched to a 4-4-2 formation.
They were able to break down Wolves a bit more freely and found an equaliser soon after the break through Cody Gakpo.
Robertson put Liverpool ahead with five minutes remaining before an own goal from Hugo Bueno in stoppage time sealed the three points.
In an interview with Liverpool's club channels, Szoboszlai - who was instructed to play in a deeper role in the second half - was asked about the key factor in the victory.
"That we didn't give up," he replied. "At half-time the manager talked to us about the passion and what we needed in the second half, the work and what we needed to put into the game. I think we switched the formation and then everybody did their job and we turned the game.
"If I have to play there [deeper in midfield] then I'm playing there. I had to concentrate and focus more on the defensive way, but still I was up there trying to help the team, getting a few shots that didn't happen for me today. But next time!"
Robertson spoke to TNT Sports post-match and too was asked about Klopp's half-time team talk.
"I can tell you some of it, but probably not all of it," the Scot said.
"We weren't at the races in the first half, we can come up with excuses like lads playing across the world but at the end of the day, you have to be ready to play the game.
"I think it took us 45 minutes to get into it, Wolves were the better team, they created the best chances, put us under pressure and we made too many mistakes.
"In the second half, we came out changed our formation slightly, went to 4-4-2, I think it worked, pushing people further forward. I think we dominated the second half and probably got what we deserved out of the second half performance."
