PHOENIX, ARIZONA: As the Clayton Echard v Jane Doe trial closed in Arizona Superior Court, our very own Reality Steve shared some startling moments from the said trial. As the Judge eventually agrees with 'The Bachelor' star Clayton that it is sufficient to indicate that any reasonable person will feel harassed and grants him an injunction for harassment, fans label the "Jane Doe" as "unhinged."
In a series of tweets, Steve has given a close look into the trial that Jane Doe or Clayton's accuser attended via Zoom meeting.
On November 3rd, Clayton filed an Injunction Against Harrassment. This has nothing to do with paternity or anything of the kind.
He was pleading with her to leave him alone. Since May, she has sent over 500 emails and SMS messages.
The accuser has produced footage of her pregnant belly dating back to September. The date of this hearing was November 3.
According to his lawyer, there is no documentation of when and where the video was taken.
According to Steve, the accuser claimed she was 24 weeks pregnant with Clayton's twins, but there's no concrete proof to back that up.
She was also questioned about the exhibits she intends to provide as proof. Exhibit 50 is a screenshot from Reddit that his accuser alleges originated from Clayton, since he was the only one with the information in the post (which Dave Neal demonstrated was false).
The judge refused to authorize it.
As the accuser continues to claim she's 24 weeks pregnant, she tells the judge that she is due February 14, 2024.
As the conversation went back and forth for a while between the judge and the accuser, Jane Doe apparently failed to provide any concrete evidence backing her claims that either she was pregnant with Clayton's twins or pregnant at all.
The judge left whether the accuser is pregnant or not at the hands of the family court, however, she deemed the nature of the conversation that took place between the two parties, where the accuser apparently sent over 500 emails and even proposed to give their one-night stand relationship a chance, to make the cut for "harassment."
The judge decides that a reasonable person would be alarmed by this series of events. The judge also expressed concerns that the accuser was facilitating demands.
'The Bachelor' star Clayton Echard earlier revealed paternity test results
Clayton provided an update on his paternity lawsuit in early October.
The 'Bachelor' star said that he had received paternity test results in response to a paternity case filed by an Arizona podcaster who claimed she fell pregnant with twins after participating in "sexual activity" with him.
"Listen, it's Friday, and you know what we need on a Friday? We need some good news, and who's got the good news today? I got the good news," he stated in an Oct. 6 Instagram selfie video.
"What's the good news, Clayton? Well, test results came back early, and they said little to no fetal DNA present."
Clayton added, "Let's go, baby! I knew that was going to happen. Thankfully, five months of torture can finally be put to rest."
In a statement that day, the podcaster told Us Weekly that the lab that performed the paternity test notified her that "there was an issue with my sample and that they need another sample from me, which I am giving first thing on Wednesday."
'The Bachelor' star Clayton Echard is losing out on work due to an ongoing trial
The 33-year-old, whose identity has not been revealed, said in an August complaint acquired by The Sun and Page Six that she and Clayton "engaged in sexual activity" on one night in May.
Clayton told The Sun in a statement that the two "did not have sexual intercourse," and that in his response to the woman's case, he demanded "a court-ordered paternity test" paid for by her.
Clayton said in his Oct. 6 video message, "I think two false accusations in a lifetime is enough," alluding to a TikTok user's bogus 2022 charges that he cheated on his now-ex-girlfriend Susie Evans with her, which he refused.
She then apologized, stating that she had realized the man she had met was not a reality celebrity.
According to an audio released by Dave Neal, Clayton's lawyers argued that due to the ongoing case, the former 'Bachelor' star is losing out on work.
