BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: UFC commentator Joe Rogan's eponymous podcast is popular due to his unique knack for conducting engaging conversations.

In a recent podcast episode, Rogan expressed significant concerns about China's alleged infiltration into the United States of America through what he believes is a biased student exchange policy.

Many listeners worldwide appreciate Rogan's skill in tackling sensitive topics during discussions with his guests. Rogan's podcast episodes resemble open books, with his unfiltered and authentic statements.

For example, Rogan once discussed how he used mushrooms to keep conversations engaging in his podcast episodes.

Is Joe Rogan's take on US and China controversial?

In a recent episode of Joe Rogan's podcast with Mike Baker, he discussed China's laws that prohibit Americans from engaging in various activities within China, highlighting the contrast with the situation in the United States.

While addressing claims of Chinese students coming to America and accessing sensitive data and information, Rogan commented on China's considerable influence in the United States.

He expressed astonishment at the significant disparity in the rules and regulations between the two countries, noting that Americans face restrictions in China, such as being unable to own businesses, land, or property.

Meanwhile, Chinese citizens enjoy these privileges in the United States, he pointed out. Considering the strained diplomatic relations between the two countries, Rogan's claims are controversial.

Rogan also highlighted the influence China allegedly wields over American universities. He claimed these students gather sensitive data during their time in the US, sometimes getting caught in the process. The situation struck Rogan as "crazy."

Rogan said, "China has so much influence on America. It's crazy how different the playing field is between like what we're allowed to do like Americans can't own businesses in China, they can't own land in China, they can't buy property, but China can do all those things here and they can influence our universities."

"They bring their students over here. Their students siphon up data and information and oftentimes get caught. It's kind of crazy," he added.

That said, Rogan's views on US and China are only the latest in a string of controversial moments his podcast has seen. One of the most controversial episodes of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' featured Edward Snowden as the guest.

That particular episode, recorded in 2019, has amassed an impressive view count of over 35 million on YouTube.

Snowden became a contentious figure following the widely publicized NSA leaks of 2013. The leaks entailed the unauthorized release of classified information on the internet, sparking extensive debates concerning internet security.
