Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon has offered a unique perspective on the situation through a rap focusing on the names of the political figures involved.
The speaker discussion has been going on for some time, and late-night shows have all had their own take on it, including 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', whose writers have received kudos in particular for the show's funny roasts.

Fallon began, "Here, let me break it down for you," as the rhythmic tapping began in the background.
"Kevin McCarthy. Patrick McHenry. Kevin McCarthy. Patrick McHenry. McHenry. McCarthy. McHenry. McCarthy. Two men. Same party," Fallon began rapping the names as he demonstrated the similarities.
The host continued without pausing. "McCarthy. McGarvey. McCollum. McCaul. McCarthy. McCarthy. McCartney. McGraw. McCarthy. McGovern. McCormick. McBath. McClellan. Mick Jagger. McCheese. Back to Pat. McCarthy. McGovern. McLovin. McRib. Matthew McConaughey. Now back to Mick."

Following the ousting of McCarthy, McHenry had the opportunity to wield the gavel as speaker for the first time. Fallon cut to a clip showing the North Carolina congressman with full energy slamming down the gavel and recessing the US House.
Laughing along with the audience, Jimmy exclaimed, "Trouble at home, Pat?" before adding, "Wow. That's pretty aggressive with the gavel there."
After a brief burst of laughter, Fallon abruptly switched to what appeared to be a live scene with the host dressed as McHenry in the chamber. Jimmy was imitating the congressman's scenario with the "aggressive" gavel.
