LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jill Duggar claims Josh Duggar founded the Christian Boy's Club to boycott pornography years before the child porn charges were filed. In the Prime Video docuseries, 'Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets', Jill stated that her elder brother Josh founded a Christian boys' club called "Boy Cot." Josh, 35, founded the group years before the news of his molestation accusation surfaced in 2015.
According to one alum, 32, the club opposed a nearby convenience shop selling booze and pornography. According to records acquired exclusively by In Touch Weekly, Josh sexually touched five young females while he was a teenager in 2006. He was never charged with a crime at the time, although four of the six victims were discovered to be his sisters Jill, Jessa Seewald (nee Duggar), Joy-Anna Forsyth (nee Duggar), and Jinger Vuolo (nee Duggar).
Four months later, Josh was himself in another incident when he was discovered to have an Ashley Madison account, which is a website for people searching for partners to participate in extramarital romances. Josh entered into a rehabilitation clinic after admitting to having a paid membership and publicly apologizing to his wife, Anna Duggar.

Following the controversies, the 19 Kids and Counting alum attempted to avoid the limelight. He made news again in April 2021 when he was arrested on child pornography accusations. The second allegation was eventually dismissed during the disgraced TLC star's sentencing hearing in May 2022, when he was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison. In addition to divulging Josh's previous club, Jill stated she regretted supporting the father of seven throughout his molestation issue. Jill and Jessa, 30, discussed the incident on Megyn Kelly's now-defunct show, 'The Kelly File', when the news broke.
"In hindsight, I would not have done the Megyn Kelly stuff," she remarked on the second episode of 'Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets', which aired on Friday, June 2. "I felt like I was in a place again of, like, bearing the burden and the weight of just — even though you volunteer, it's like you feel obligated to help." The sisters detailed their responses to the news of Josh while participating on the show. Jill also claimed that she and the other Duggars had "moved on" from the issue. "This was something that's already been dealt with. We've already forgiven Josh," Jill told Kelly, 52, at the time.
