NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fans recently witnessed a slightly new makeover on ‘Today With Hoda & Jenna,’ the spin-off talk show of ‘Today’ show featuring Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.
This new look was well appreciated by ‘Today’ fans, however, it did not include Kotb, who was missing from her spot next to Hager.
Instead, Hager sat next to her sister, Barbara Bush. While the sister duo also graced ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ a few days ago, it was their appearance on 'Today' that stole hearts.
As Hager and Barbara hosted the ‘Today’ segment together, they garnered admiration from fans who expressed a desire to see them co-host more often.
Additionally, the duo released their third picture book titled 'Love Comes First.'
Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush take over ‘Today’
On the ‘Today’ show, the sisters took over to talk about some of their first loves as their book got them thinking about “loves of all kinds,” as explained by Jenna Bush Hager.
Hager and Barbara then played a game in line with the same theme.
They talked about the “first concert” they ever loved and attended together, which was a Paul Simon concert they went to, with their mother.
As for their “first crush,” Hager immediately remembered that Barbara’s first crush was Jared Leto, and Barbara and Hager then joked about how Michael Bolton was Hager’s first crush as she listened to him “all the time.”
The Bush sisters continued with the game, and a few other segments, before Hager bid goodbye to her sister, as the whole crew clapped and hooted for Barbara.
Today with Hoda & Jenna’s official Instagram also shared a clip of the aforementioned wrap up, “Thank you @barbara.p.bush for guest co-hosting with your sissy this morning! We love you 🩷”
Fans call for more of Barbara Bush on ‘Today’
Following Barbara Bush’s appearance on the ‘Today’ show, fans couldn’t help but express their appreciation for her, and the Bush sister duo.
One fan commented, “I love Barbara and Jenna on the show together!! I hope she will co-host more often!”
Several fans resonated the same emotion as one wrote, “Hope they host together more,” and another wrote, “Barbara did great! She needs to be a regular guest host!!”
Some even wanted Barbara on permanently and claimed she was “better” than Hoda Kotb. “She's better than Hoda any day,” wrote one viewer, and another said, “Barbara should be the only host, tired of Hoda and Jenna.”
