Jason Sudeikis agrees to pay $27,500 child support as he settles custody battle with Olivia Wilde

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After a long and bitter legal dispute, Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have settled their differences over their children Otis and Daisy.

The ‘Ted Lasso’ star will pay $27,500 per month as child support for their two children who are nine and six years old.

Jason Sudeikis will also cover 25% of the expenses for Olivia Wilde's childcare

The Daily Mail reported that Jason Sudeikis will give Olivia Wilde $27,500 every month to support their two children, $10,300 for their son and $17,200 for their daughter.

This is based on the court documents that show Sudeikis’ expected 2023 income is $10.5 million and Wilde’s expected income is $500,000.

Furthermore, The 'Ted Lasso' star will also have to cover 25% of the expenses for Wilde’s childcare.

"The parties agree that child support for the minor children in the amount of $27,500 per month is sufficient to maintain the needs of the minor children considering Jason’s station in life," the papers, as per the publication, read.

"[The settlement] is consistent with each child’s best interest, and application of the guideline would be unjust or inappropriate in this case," it added.

The settlement resolves the couple’s outstanding child custody and support issues that have been ongoing over the past 18 months.

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde show signs of reconciliation

The custody battle between Sudeikis, 48, and Wilde, 39, took a drastic turn when the ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ director was infamously served legal papers while on stage at CinemaCon in April 2022.

At the time, a source told Page Six that Wilde was mortified. "It seemed unthinkable to her, and it took a moment to set in, but as mortifying as it was, she did not want to give a reaction," the insider explained.

Fortunately, things have gotten better since then. Not only have Sudeikis and Wilde settled their custody battle, but they reportedly put on a united front in Los Angeles last weekend when they were spotted cheering on Otis at his soccer game.

The former duo, the publication noted, even hugged and shared a high-five.

Olivia Wilde praises Justin Bieber over Harry Styles

Earlier this week, the 'Don’t Worry Darling' star stirred up some drama when she called Justin Bieber, not her ex Harry Styles, the "greatest singer on Earth."

She was a guest on 'Subway Takes', a short talk show that happens on the New York City subway.

The host challenged her to say the first thing that popped into her head when he mentioned Justin Bieber and Olivia quickly replied: "the greatest singer on Earth."

She also shared her opinion that good singers should not do karaoke.

"They can go get paid to do that. We in the non-good singing community paid to be able to go and sing. We pay good money to be able to go and sing… badly," she said.

"I’m terrible [at karaoke], but that’s the point. I take pride in being booed off because that’s great," she continued.

She added: "There’s no singer good enough that I want to see them do karaoke well."

Wilde and Sudeikis began their relationship in November 2011 and got engaged in January 2013. They had two children before breaking up in November 2020.
