CLEVELAND, OHIO: Jake Paul has become a phenomenon in the world of combat sports. Paul, who rose to fame as a YouTuber and entered the boxing rink to fight against some of the greatest mixed martial artists, is now attempting to pursue a different sport.

Paul agreed to take part in MMA fights with PFL earlier this year. On top of that, he just disclosed that he's excited about a possible transfer to the NFL.

In December 2023, Jake Paul will be back in the rink for another bout. He will face professional boxer Andre August, who has a 10-1 record. Moreover, now that Paul has declared his desire to play football in the future, he attracted attention.

Jake Paul seeks to join NFL in future

Jake Paul shared one of his wishes on a recent episode of the 'BS w/ Jake Paul' podcast. His dream is to be a professional athlete signed by Nike, one of the largest sports brands in the world. Paul is adamant that he would be the ideal fit for the business and its slogan.

"I truly believe that I’m the prime example of being a Nike athlete from Ohio. Wrestling my whole life, repping the whole brand," Jake Paul said.

Moreover, Paul said that he was thinking of a concept for a Nike campaign. This is contingent upon his decision to pursue a career as an NFL player.

"We have this commercial in my head and I’m gonna go to the NFL after I’m done boxing and be a wide receiver and I’m gonna score a f**king touchdown. And when I do it, I’ll say, ‘Just did it!'," Paul added.

Jake Paul set to enter the world of MMA

It's unclear what will happen to Jake Paul's ambitions of becoming an MMA fighter since he is already considering his transfer to the NFL. He even promised to give Nate Diaz $10 million, and he had previously issued a challenge for a fight. The Stockton native hasn't yet accepted the offer, though. He is still interested in a boxing rematch with Paul.

Jake Paul, meantime, said that he would be competing in the brand-new "Super Fight" division when he signed with the PFL. He has been keeping himself occupied with his boxing endeavors, though, as there is still no set date for his PFL debut.

Jake Paul aspires to be a successful athlete in many different sports. What he said on his podcast makes this clear. But how things work out for Paul in the upcoming days and months is yet to be seen.
